This company lied about appt. time

Have been getting many calls from this number but they never leave a message.  I have no idea who they are.

Company set up a time to give an estimate.  They called back on the day of the appointment and wanted to change the time.  When I could not work with them on time, they started to give me attitude (Me: Okay, look... Them: Look? I can't see you through the phone, sir!) I told them they were about to get a bad review on Yelp.  They said thanks for your time, and have a "blessed" day.

Called and asked about a kitchen remodel.  Told him we weren't interested in a kitchen remodel.  Asked when they could come out of a free estimate.  Told her we weren't interested.  Went around in circles for about 10 minutes before I finally hung up.  

What makes these people think that we'd just hire a complete stranger to come into our house,  and give estimates, free or not?

Have them come out and get biz card and tell'em they deal with a bad company for leads...
And to stop calling = they take you off list perm!

Elder Abuse Alert:  A male person called household for “retro fitting”; caller name was not given, nor was a call back number or company name provided. Used fast talking tactics and informed homeowner(s) he’d be coming out to the home at a scheduled time, which was not agreed to by them.  Called back 310-587-4177
to cancel and number had been disconnected.
A female called to confirm appointment on the day of (appointment) from a different number (310-982-2717) & said they were from Retro Builders.  We cancelled appointment for that day and asked them to remove number from their list and not to call again.  Woman on phone sneered at end of call. Scamming?

They called me, they thought I was someone else (wrong name) ,but I accepted the call because I needed some work done on my house . they were going to come out and give me an estimate but they called me off a phone list that must have been 30 years old... and I'm really good at finding out information on the internet about people... but I couldn't find any information about a company called " Builders Specialist " she said : "that's the name of their company and we're on Angie's list"... Anyway they called to confirm the day of the appointment and they had an address that was where I used to live , and I said no I don't live there anymore... but I'd like to know more about you before I have you come out to my place then she gave me an offended attitude...I guess because I was asking: who they were, where they were located, What their contractor's number was....? ? ? I and if there is any referral to them online anywhere as far as reviews... she said "well I'll cancel your appointment for now until you're happy with our company" and yet I can find nothing about them online ... or on Angie's list under that name. so I have to cancel out of hand ...and I Want work done... But I feel there's something wrong with the way the whole thing went down because of the agent lady's attitude and the lack of information about the company online.... which is amazing absolutely amazing because I have my own company and I have references all over the place without me ever even having to put in any input For my company ! to not have any review anywhere is Incredible!... I feel bad about this but the  bid appointment is not going to happen...

Happened to answer a call yesterday from Jay from Family Builders asking if I was interested in getting a quote for remodeling. I said no, but maybe next year. He offered to come out and give me a quote that would be good for a year and reluctantly I agreed to set an appointment for tonight at 6:30. He knew my name and home address. He called back today and said his name was Jason Sterling and was calling about the appointment. I then told him I was cancelling because I was unable to find out anything about their company on the internet and that I would not do any business with a company with no references or website. He then said that this was happening a lot with his potential customers who also could not find info and said there was some glitch with the internet. I then said I needed his company business license so I could verify they were legitimate. He said he would call back with that information in 30 minutes. Of course he never called back.

Three numbers 055-491-4921, "no name; no number" and 310-98-2717 SCAMMERS.  BEWARE.  One call "Retro Builders" and another Builders Specialist, NEITHER are legitimate companies or tele numbers ANYWHERE to be found.  Different person called to "reschedule" and I cancelled, IMMEDIATELY.  By the way 055 area code is in Italy!  Stay safe out there.

They called me and as I needed work done I gave them the address. They didn't show up on time. They called few days after first time was a lady next time was a man he apologized and said they will call again to confirm the appointment.  The appointment date a third one called me to confirm and they didn't showup. During phone calls they insisted to know my full name and if I am the owner.
