Just got a call from this clown.  He had gotten our name and address somewhere and started talking about coming over for the "estimate" we had requested.  I told him I had no idea what he was talking about and hung up.  His demeanor was sloppy and he kept asking questions trying to get info out of me or confirm info that he had gotten somewhere.  I'm in Orange County and he was calling from an LA number(310-984-7640).

I would recommend contacting the Contractors State License Board (link below) and filing a complaint against his license.  A few of those and the guy is out of business.  http://www.cslb.ca.gov/

310-984-7640 called me at 5:53 PM and hung up when I answered. Fortunately I now have VOIP (Voice Over IP) with Callcentric. I can now send them a SIT (Special Information Tone) indicating the number has been disconnected, as well as an error voice message stating that the number dialed has been disconnected. I had my home number ported to Callcentric. I now pay $1.95 per month plus 1.5 cents per minute for incoming calls. They have a few different plans.

310-984-7640 "Karen" Called me again this morning from so called Triangle Home Center (another phony name). I have told them before I am on the "Federal Do Not Call List" and I will turn them in, which I have done each time they call, but they still call and I still turn them in.

What is the Feds doing about companies like this? Either they don’t care or have the time to bother with them, so what are we as tax payers paying for? They are sure not providing us with a service we signed up for as paying tax payers.

I have told these "Pests" from Triangle Construction/Triangle Home Center or what ever other names they use. This call just cost them. All they do is apologize and call again next week.

I would never use a company that solicits over the phone no matter who they are. It is a low way for A company to prey on people who are not able to make a clear decision of there own on home construction or maintenance.

These so called “Phony” companies are nothing but a nuisance to society.

Tired of repeated calls from this number

Yes, this number belongs to Triangle Construction, and they're very annoying.  After calling them repeatedly with no answer at their telemarketing callback number (310-984-7640), I called their main company number (310-645-8080) and spoke with receptionist Teela.  She was very nice, and assured me she would immediately speak to their telemarketing manager and have my number removed from their call list.  We'll see if this happens.  (I'd recommend telling them your number is a business line, because they'll WANT to delete it then.)

Their ops manager called me back within a half hour and told be he was removing my number from their list!  Said it might take up to 10 days for my number to be purged from all their databases, but thanked me for my call & my patience.  Said a lot of the list brokers out there (which Triangle buys their lists from) haven't cleaned their lists properly, so they've assigned an internal person to handle cleaning the list when people call for removal.

Call their main number 310-645-8080 and get removed.  Be polite.  They were very polite themselves.

Oh, by the way, the operations manager said the telemarketers themselves have no way of removing your name from their list, so make sure you GO AROUND THE TELEMARKETER and call the main company number & ask the receptionist to have you removed.  Again, it's 310-645-8080.

I just got a call from this idiot who said he was from triangle construction and wanted to know when I was going to start work on my house. I told him the work was already done and my son was a licensed
contractor. He asked when I was putting in my pool and I said I had no intention of putting in a pool.

How do you file a "do not call" complaint?

Thanks for all the info here.  Called the actual Triangle number and they promised to take me off the list.  I will report them if I get another call but like giving them a chance first.

Keep getting these calls about 2 to 3 times a week.  Usually when I am not able to get to the phone without breaking something. They hang up everytime.  When I call them back there is no answer and I will try the number Scott said to use.  This is ridiculous and should be illegal.

This idiot keeps harassing us. He calls and then hangs up. Lately he has been asking if we have any work for a handyman. We ask him to stop but he keeps calling.

I need more info Robert...how does Quality change their CID? they try every trick in the book, and why cuss at me, Is this legal? this is the rudest company I have ever dealt with and I do not have a auto loan, I called and spoke with a manager who ended up sending a repo man to my front door at 11 pm, I called the cops, he told the cops that Quality said I had a unpaid vehicle in my garage, I opned the garage door and showed them, I never heard of this company, The repo man said that they thought I had a car that belonged under someone elses name...I dont get it, I am going to send a letter and Police report number to the DOJustice and see about getting their license yanked for good...anyone else care to join me in court?
