checkin if anyone else got a call from (312)2014610 recently???

After I did a conference call to a number in Chicago....I keep getting called every day from 312-201-4610. NORC U They do not leave a message. Weird.

6 calls in past 3 weeks.  i did answer one long enough to hear some gal say something like "CDC" before I told her I did not want any more calls. These are only the calls I counted, there were many more.  These are the calls that came after I told them to stop. We do not answer them, they do not leave a message.  Someone else said to answer & press the 2 button repeatedly & it might zap your number from their system.  I'm going to try it. After that, an air horn might work too

I recently got a call from this number.  Like the poster above, I was asked to do a government sponsored survey.  The person who called gave me the study's website to check out.  Seems like it is on the up and up.

Am getting same think every few minutes since yesterday evening... anyone know how to stop it???

They want you to do a 15 minute survey that healthcare in the US sucks for everyone but whites.  It starts by comparing whites to balcks, then to hispanics and then asians.  Why can we not get by this whole race issue?  I've got a point...want healthcare serve in country in the military and then use the VA as your fallback healthcare!

I got a 2nd call from a college today 8/31/09 4:22 p.m. How can these calls be stopped. This call came from Norc U-Chi. I was resting as I'm recovering from cancer surgery & I'm almost 80 yrs. old & not interested in these surveys. If you don't answer they don't leave any message on your answering machine they just keep calling.

Haha that's funny ... I work for them and I got this call on my phone, so I looked them up and it turns out to be where I work!

I can tell you that they're legitimate: nonprofit, nonpartisan, they run surveys for the public sector like the CDC and don't spam or sell your info. If you don't qualify for the surveys you'd know within 30 sec. of their questions. It's for a good cause even if the questions are personal. If you're suspicious you should ask to speak to a supervisor and/or have them send you a letter, and if it's a bad time just tell them call back at whenever works for you.

Ya I got a letter from them yesterday, the envelope said it was from CDC and their computer just picks numbers to call so it seems ok to me?
