I have received ten calls from this number and it warns someone else about weather at  Kessler AFB in Miss.I am on the west coast and therefore too far and three hours difference.

Received a recording from a 757 area code (Hampton VA) in the middle of the night (x2) directing I call the 312 number for an "important message from Global Strike Command".  I did not call.

got called from 757 number electronic voice with my full name. they left message to call 312-216-8950 supposedly from AETC.
It could have related to a weather warning for that evening, but I saw no reason to take the risk to call it back.

I returned from leave to see that this same message(from yesterday) was awaiting my return...except mine said it was ACC--not AETC.

Got call from this number stating they had a VA Notification and to response with temporary code they gave.

Me too!  Just now. Seems like scammers. Says they're from the VA,  I am a veteran so it's misleading.

Just received a call and a text from this number....the text advised me "I am not safe".....but then the voice message advised they were calling from the VA Medical Center in Washington DC. (810 Vermont Avenue NW) telling me to evacuate the building immediately, then advise them if I made it out of the building safely.

It is a central number for a DoD mass emergency notification system. If you got a message saying to call this number it is because you are linked through MilConnect and due to your information the system has determined that there is some danger or mass casualty that is happening in your area. This number is safe and will only respond if called from the phone you received the message on.

I didnt answer but they left a voicemail. It didnt say anything though...

Any call from this number is legit. It is from the safety response system of DOD. Any VA employees that have provided their personal number for contact is in the system. They often do a security check to make certain that all numbers are current. I just received a call and was unable to answer. Then I got an email from my Supervisor reporting that they were able to successfully verify my emergency information because of system check was just performed. I seriously got that email while reading some of the other responses to the number.

VA number for emergency- today there was an alert for active shooter, and this phone came through my phone line- I did not answer, because I could not but valid number
