From Academic Advisors - saying I MUST have signed up for college enrollment advice.  This is a lie.  I am currently enrolled at DePaul, but never did I give out my phone number to be advised as to which school to attend.  I'm already attending a school!!

Scam.

Received  an automated call and they Identified themselves as Academic Advisers. I have 2 degrees and am not looking to add to my degrees. Not sure how they got my cell #. I hung up.

Got a call from them about 5 minutes ago, did not answer. Since they did not leave a voicemail, I Googled the number and saw what it was about. Called back with the intent of requesting that they not contact me again, reached an automated menu that said "Press 1 to unsubscribe, press 2 to be called back about additional education opportunities." I pressed "1," and was prompted to enter my phone number with area code, followed by the # key, which I did, and after which the call was immediately disconnected.

interesting that the top comment was regarding DePaul. For some reason, DePaul (legitimately) calls from their office thinking I am someone else. I have had to block them as they're calling for someone else who attends. Sadly, my number is part of this stupid scam number. I never get a complete phone call, meaning: they disconnect, no message, etc.

they have been calling several times a day for the past week or so from Academic Advisor. Do not give any info. I have not been in school since 2012 and WHY are they calling me!!!!! scam  Phone number that always pops on my caller ID 312-219-9042

Just try applying for a job on Indeed.com or any other job hunter and presto! You start getting calls from "schools".

When I asked what this was all about "please"... they hung up...

The computer calls every day @ 12:45,  I am 60 plus and haven't been in school for years.

Facebook sometimes has free stuff you can sigh up for when you do this you just give a 1000 telemarketers your number because they share it wth every tom ,dick an harry and their cousins my advise if you dont like someone sign up for this free stuff use their # an email haha

Two calls, both on Sunday.one from Chicago 312219-9042....I called it back and got the message: sorry CAREER ADVISORS is closed right now. Press 1 to be removed (you had to enter your phone # and I'm not giving it to them!  The second was from 312-219-9044 ACADEMIC ADVISOR.  I believe they are the same caller.  I'm going to be 86 so I'm not looking for a career.  That boat sailed. 2nd day in a row getting calls from this number.  Did not answer, no messages left.

Stop calling

Called so many time and I called back to unsubscribe. However they keep calling even I unsubscribed already! Someone needs to be sued!

These Google listing scammers are relentless. They call my office at least twice a day from different numbers. It's the same robot each time.

They keep on calling they never left a message and the number always says NOT in service
