He sounds like a character from Glengarry Glenross / Boiler Room, less the charm.

He called our law office and said "I found your name on-line.  I want to talk about a case."  He was reluctant to give his last name, but he finally said Randy Ravoir.  I could tell he was in sales (we get these calls all the time) and didn't even bother giving my boss the message (but I came here just to double-check :)
