Called us at 7:33 AM on a Saturday morning. Crazy!!!  So irritating that we have no way to prevent this, or berate them for calling at such an inappropriate time. We ARE on the Do Not Call registry...?

Just got the same call at 8:15 on Saturday morning. They've called several times and I've told them I am on the do not call list. This morning I asked to speak to the guys manager because I want them to stop calling and he hung up on me. This has to stop. Do these people have no pride doing this as a job? What happened to honest work? It's clear they are trying to get personal information from callers.  He stated he had some home security system and needed to know if I own my home. I am sure that was just the start of getting information. So annoying.

Phony sales call and we are on the do not call list.

Just got the call.  Did not answer.  Has anybody registered applied or asked for info to an online college before receiving this call.  That is the only people I have given my number to recently.  Just trying to track down a possible source that is selling phone number lists.

Everybody sells names, addresses and phone number. please read your c card statements front and back. buy from any website other than ebay your sold. its is part of life deal with and move forward in a careful manor

I got a call from some moron at tis number when I asked who he was he said Peter Jennings. I said BS and hung up.

do not call

On the do not call list, got a call, they said nothing.  Not good.

This number called at 6:45 this evening. I answered and after saying hello 3 times, I got no response. This is pretty sketchy considering their using a Chicago area code and I live in Boston...

It's not a legitimate job - it's a scam. They don't care about the DNC list! If I don't recognize the name on caller ID, I don't answer. If you pick up, it just verifies your number and they'll call even more.

One ring and they, Your Security, hung up.  I am very suspicious that organizations like AARP are selling these spammers their lists!

You do know that the "Do Not Call Registry" is a joke.  It is not enforced....never was and never will be.

Barb, this will never stop. I am on the DNC registry and get these low life scum call everyday. The home security scam is just one of many. I have filed complaints with both the FCC and FTC with no results. The Government won't enforce the no call list. Don't even try to reason with these telemarketers or ask them not to call you. You can't reason with these scam artist. If you answer and talk to one of them, they know your number is a working number and will only call you over and over again. Short of tearing your phone out of the wall, you can't stop them. You can thank our federal government for all the help they are giving us to stop this problem.  GOOD LUCK

Got this call today. Caller ID said v20916001000123. I have received calls from these scum before.
Just one of many telemarketers who have called me over the past year. The do not call registry means nothing to these lowlife, if you tell them to stop calling, it just gets worse, they know the government won't do anything about this. I know because of all the complaints I have filed with both the FCC and FTC and yet the calls keep coming. You can't stop it so don't waste your time trying. Just don't answer calls you don't know and maybe sooner or later these scum will take your number off there list.
