Received a call on my cell from this number. I didn't answer as I didn't recognize the number. They did not leave a message

312-273-1405  Called my work phone - on an internal hidden number.  Besides the fact that this is a telemarketer, there are only two places that have this number:  my doctor and Xfinity.   I wonder who sold the number.

 They called a few days ago and offered to lick the corn off the inside of my Wrecked Uhm...for FREE.

can't the fcc or phone companies stop this crap from these people. If I wanted to talk with them--I would call them.

Just called my cell, didn't leave a voicemail msg, added to blacklist.  BTW, any Android users out there search Google Play for "Call Master" - Hands down the best app I've used to block numbers.  Use "Ignore: Answer, wait, hangup" so these cold calling companies can't even leave a message.  Good riddance.

Got a call from this number today from Chicago IL, picked up, it was indeed Carl Winslow.  He's doing well.

They called ANC were offering a free alarm system with their monitoring . The system that was installed was awesome . I can fail up and see what's going on in my house from my smart phone . I can even answer the doorbell from a different city . I can turn the air on the lights on or off . It's really cool and free

same number called me. checked the number on this website while it was calling. did not answer based on the comments on this site. thank god for this website

incredible site - This number has been trying to call my cell for weeks now but I never answer.

Very very odd. My boyfriend & i r going through serious issues. Im pretty sure hes cheating. This number called my phone for the first time ever this evening. I thought it was his side girl calling me from a work # or something. I mentioned it to him. There was an outgoing call on his phone TO this number (before i even mentioned it to him). Is this girl helping him hack my iphone or something?  Someone who is tech savy & knows iphones, let me kno if that is a possibility.

I got a call for this number, but I didnt answer, yesterday I got an email from the District 49:

Our partners in area law enforcement would like the district to share with you information on a scam has been developed and is affecting our community.  
In this phone scam, police say criminals are reported to have called, saying they're with a cartel and have a member of your family held hostage. The caller then threatens that if you don't give them money, they're going to hurt or even kill your loved one.
The phone call can seem authentic because the caller typically knows a frightening amount of personal information about who they claim to have hostage.  Law enforcement officers say the criminals are getting this information from social media sites.
This scam has been going on in other states, but recently showed up in the Colorado Springs area, to include within our DIstrict 49 boundaries. There have been several instances reported to local law enforcement.  Law enforcement is warning the public to be cautious about what information is readily available on all social media sites.
Most of the calls are originating from a 312 area code.
The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate cases, and urges the community to contact us if this type of call is received.

called, left no message

I just got a call from them. Called back and they did not provide any information, just a number listing. The wording was "Your number has been stored in our Do Not Call list" which sounds sketchily as if it were stored in a more permanent way than it had been in their system before.

Hey same bozos called me...I didn't answer..they didn't leave message.

Got a call, picked up but got automate message said "Ok Goodbye" then it hanged up

A recording says "The FBI has reported that burglary...."
Then I'm asked to press 1 to speak to a rep or 9 to go onto the do not call list, but no matter what I do, they continue to call.

I've spoken to them before and they are "Monotronics" Security company and they are RELENTLESS.
Eventhough I told them I just had Vivint installed, they still tried to convince me to cancel my contract with them and sign up for Monotronics security instead.

Calling the number does nothing to help - another recording, then a loud beep and a request to leave a message.

Got a call from this number, same as others reporting here, FBI reports... "Do not call" lists don't deter some folks.
