definitely invest in a phone with the call block feature. There is nothing more gratifying than hearing 1 ring, looking at the caller id and seeing "call blocked" and KNOWING they are so ignorant they likely sat there for 1/2 a minute talking before they realized they were talking to a busy signal.

I picked up a refurbished 3 pack of the Panasonic kx-tga642 cordless a year ago on Ebay for $75.00 free shipping, I may not like every single aspect of this phone, but the call block feature alone makes up for everything!

Welcome to call block whomever the hell you are in Chicago calling me, I know NOBODY in Chicago, and a quick goggle of your number puts you on the list!

Actually the recorded message asks you three questions, promising a cruise to the Bahamas. After the questions, they put you through another line, and then they drop the call as if it was an accident.

I received a call from this number on my cell. If I don't know the number I don't answer.
I am also on the do not call on my cell.

I have already submitted my number to the do not call list numerous times apparently with know results.

I have received many calls too. I never answer calls if I don't know the number, regardless. I had a call yesterday from a number not listed on the net yet. That number is 512-730-3581. A buddy of mine in Austin  Texas called it for me, and guess what, yup you guessed it..it was disconnected. However, the number appeared on his phone later that same evening and it was a political recorded call. These people and the magazine scam phone numbers are driving me a little nuts too. I feel like going retro and trashing the cell phone, then at least my day would be undisturbed.

Please take us off your calling list. We are also on the do not call list.

Received a call from this number, answered and heard a click. Called the number back and a recording said the following," You were called to participate in a survey and the time has expired. If you would not like to be called for anymore surveys press 2. Now you may simply hang up."

ATT only allows 12 blocked numbers at any time. I AM on DNCL, have a private number, and am recently disabled/retired veteran. I never answer calls unless know by caller ID whom it is exactly and the answering machine does the rest of work. Have no idea whom they were calling in behalf of but can tell you one thing; I have decided to NOT give my number on even the contact email form of my U.S. Senator because THAT's one way to be hounded for polling not to mention donations. Someone on here mentioned purchasing an air blow horn, which is great if you must answer the phone but KNOW that digital answering machine/phone combos with caller ID already on them are pretty cheap now and if you use say ATT, they may not advertise it but they have a plan that is unlimited long distance in USA, incl. Canada and P.R. that also has like ten 'bells and whistle features', incl. caller I.D. NOW, what I DO have in my arsenal in the event I answer thinking by caller ID it may be the Veteran's Admn. or my brother, a fellow Veteran (they do not show up as most Gov't agencies do not on caller I.D.), it may seem juvinile but gives me a kick and yet to have any caller return a call after I do this to them is: purchased a $9. digital device that has a remote control called the "Fart Machine #2"...being digital and VERY loud, it is everything the name implies and they never expect it coming! (It also was a great gag at Thanksgiving dinner with parents and my brother being the targeted place-sitting). Write your Congressperson and demad that they tie ono the Natl. Do Not Call Directory an enforceable penalty of $1000. PER violation!! Money is the only thing that actually talks in this game--certainly NOT the robocaller! Lastly, my answering machine does not state my name, only my number AND I inform that this number is on the DNCL and any violation of this will be dealt within parameters of the law! THAT too, seems to have curbed alot of calls. DO KNOW that these companies are lobbying congress to make ALL mobile devices EXEMPT from do not call listings!!! Pretty sad, esp. if you are charged for all incoming calls in said plan!

I am all so getting this call at least four times a day and have for the last week.  Just got one from unavailable a few min prior to this number. Get a lot of 210 280 8488 this is another bad one. I did not have my glasses and thought it was area code 208 and answered it and now they are going nuts sure a pain.
