They call every day from similar number and dont say anything on the other end. This should be illegal.

this is a legitimate call; a collection agency called Sunrise Credit Services out of New York; I got a call from the 312 # and the girl kinda rude only had my name about a "personal business matter" which is a careful and typical response for a collector to give; their toll free # is 844.705.0290.  I called back off the 312# and they answered.  I tt a very nice young man who was very easy to work with in ref to my AT&T bill.  I had quit AT&T and they literally refused to work out an arrangement with me so I waited knowing a collection agency, if legit, would do so.  THIS IS LEGITIMATE so don't ignore these calls.  if you're sure you didn't have an account with AT&T (or any other creditor) they can send you a VOD (validation/verification of debt).  i'm retired now but worked 30+ years in credit and collection and this guy was on the mark and right by the book.

I just started receiving calls from this sunrise 312 number, but had an AT&T charge removed from my credit report because it was not my account. It was a fraudulent collection and I really hope you knew what your balance was and only paid that...

Sunrise Credit is well known around here and not in a good way.  That person was paid by Sunrise to make that post.  It is nothing but outright lies.  Everything you need to know, to do and how to it is posted here:

I received a callat about 06.20 pm and hung up before I picked.  I called  back and he requested for my name and last 4 digits of my social security number.
I asked why and he said I owe AT&T.  I asked for for more information  because I do not owe AT&T any thing.  He mentioned my name insisted on  me giving him my social security number before he can say anything
I declined his request and demanded for details of the transaction before I give any further information.  At this he hung up on.me.
