Well, I hope he is ok.  I hope he has no desire to hurt any more people, and I hope he no longer pressures his children to cover for him.  I hope he gets a legitimate job, and does some good in the world.  On the other hand, God help Illinois, and hope no one falls prey to his compulsive criminal ways.

It's sad that people are still on this. I'm sorry to hear you all were hurt by him. He has apologized to me and asked for forgiveness. The state had what they needed. I would have been a witness by I was not needed. He did his time. I need to move on from this myself. I also need to take accountability for my part. I let a man I barely knew in my life borrow a laptop and then it was gone. How irresponsible  could I have been? I was raising two daughter's on my own. I should've paid attention. Yes, he did what he did. He even said that. He can't take that back but I need to forgive myself for the choices I made in my relationship with him. I do hope and pray happiness for all.

I only talked to him a few times. He was telling me all the things a vulnerable women would want to hear(Thank God I was not vulnerable). "He was already falling in love with me, he owned two homes, was a loving and caring father and grandfather,he had a government job etc. I followed my intuition and had friends in law enforcement and did my research. None of it true and found out his past. I just want women out there to beware of any man you see red flags with and your gut feelings are trying to tell you something. It is sad that there are men out there that prey on vulnerable women(which could be from all walks of life). There are also good men out there PLEASE follow your intuition and do a background check before getting into a relationship(It can't hurt and he doesn't need to know)

He tried scamming me too. He's still out there trying to lure women he finds online dating sites as of September 2016.  Same thing...4 kids, 2 homes, and a good job. The only job he has is trying to scam people

Sad that he has to prey on women who have made a life for themselves and their children . He needs to put big boy pants on and get a life and a job and be a good example to his kids
