keeps calling but never leaves a message

was a collection agency called Harris & Harris? Collections for People's Gas.

They call a few times a week. I never answer and they don't leave a message.

same here, my mom said they called every morning and without saying a word.

every other day for the last 2 weeks i get a call.  no message, no one answers when i call back.  its getting very annoying.  WHO IS THIS

this number calls my house a few times a week and never leaves a message. im never home when they call. i want to know who it is!

No one answers or leave s a message - just calls multiple times

Keep getting calls from collection agencies like this looking for a person that I don't even know. I'v had this phone number for months now, how many times do you need to tell someone that they have the wrong number?

I get the same as you, rings and no one there.  Would be great if they said what or who they were.

Received a call.  Is HARRIS AND HARRIS - in an attempt to collect a debt.  Obviously a debt collector.  Can't collect what I do not have.  

They will also threaten you with collection; if not over the phone, in the mail!

Also, since I sent a cancellation notice to disconnect in 2009, and the utility (Nicor in my case) did not disconnect the service, why should I pay?  This is January 2012.  I don't EVER expect to pay you.  

And no, I have never heard of a law that "requires" you to keep the gas on so that the house does not have frozen pipes.  Wouldn't matter either - I had the water and electric turned off in 2009, too!
