Called by this number...a Laurie Morgan asked for a return call and left an 800 number.

I am pretty sure they are calling to collect a debt.  Maybe you owe a company money and the debt was sold to these people and now they want to collect the money.  I haven't figured out the name of the company yet, but they left me a message w/ an 800 # and acted like we have been friends for years on the message!

This person called from this number cussed me out and threatened to turn me into the BBB because my boss answers her cell phone "Business Office"

This number does indeed belong to Rozlin Financial Group.  They are a bottom feeder collection agency that adds mob styled interest rates onto the original debt, and sometimes one that has gone beyond the SOL (Statue of limitations)...3 years here...

...I've heard of a few in the upstate area complaining about them...Remember this debt has already shown as a write off on your credit report...they have bought it either from the original debtor (or perhaps another collector) for pennies, PENNIES on the dollar...they then try to collect the full amount to make their money. My opinion, if  Collection agencies show it as a write off that constitutes double jeopardy.

Be careful this is a debt collector who has purchased old debt for pennies and are harassing individuals to pay huge amounts for old debt that had been previously written off by the original holder.  Sometimes they call an individual who is not even the person they are looking for threatening them with legal action.  Be very, very careful when talking to these guys.  Tell them to send you something in writing and do not give them your address.  If they say you have an outstanding debt they should already have your address on file without asking for it upfront.  Never - provide them with your social security number when they ask you to confirm your social security number with them. Never provide them with name or address of your employer. Again - they should already have that information on file, without having to ask you for it.

Rozlin also adds an almost  30%  interest rate to the debt...not even Louie the loan shark charges that much,...

They have called me none stop from different numbers I have managed to block most but today I got a call from this number....They want money over an account that has been written off over 10 years WTH? I told her to send me proof of the debt and she said I can't do that you know you have the debt it's such amount when can we expect a payment?' I told her send me the debt info and buy some hemorriod cream you will need it in order to get me to agree to pay you anything. Seriously are they out of their mind?

I also am in the upstate of South Carolina. Same thing happened here, out of the blue they started to try to collect on a debt that is over 7 yrs old that was written off several years ago. Then try to charge an outrageous interest rate, when you did even sign up for anything with them. They then give ya 3 options to pay, pay in full, pay in mthly payments or take a discount and pay it in full. They are extortionist. I also disputed the charges with the "original" creditor and it was dropped off my credit report, only to be brought back on to it by these scums. They won't send proof of the debt.

Nobody at this website is calling you.  Invest in a call blocker and DO NOT pick up on call numbers you do not recognize.

If they continue to bother you,  and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because,  being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking),  the only thing they understand.
