I never give my name anymore when I get a call from a number I don't know or if it's blocked.  But I do jot down the phone number if it shows up and I google it.  Just got a call from this number.  Nobody on the other end!  Yay!  I'll know who's calling next time.

Called while I was out getting lunch, did not leave a message.

Called again, this time a heavily-accented male voice saying he wanted the company info for "annual listing" in "manufacturer news" (as far as I could understand). Sounds suspiciously close to the "update your online local yellow pages listing" cramming scam so I flatly said no and hung up on him.

They do not understand NO! Asked for info and would not shut up!

It wouldn't be so bad if they would not try to hide who they are...
