I ha ve no outstanding business with Northwestern Medical Billing, and I am now getting calls -- no caller ID, no voicemail message

I recieved a computerized voicemail from the same number (312-379-3598) and they claim to be "ICS" -they say I  need to call them back about a debt collection.  I don't carry any debt other than my home mortgage, so I'm 110% certain this is a SCAM. But how I can verify that these people aren't "dinging" my credit rating?  they have obviously invested enough so that their computer system can auto-dial me.  I'm about to start a new job and the employer is doing a background check (including credit history), so I can't have these clowns messing with my employment (and hence messing with my family's well being).

I'm almost tempted to call them back and make sure I'm "square" but how would I know the person who picks up is not trying to scam me? I guess I just have to ask for proof of an unpaid bill.

When they called too get info about my balance owed, and I called them later on just too "check" Its a total SCAM!! The woman hung up on me really fast and my my phone sounded like a fax machine connected too it..

This number left me a message for continuing education.

they will not tell why they are calling. and they are very annoing, cant eve pronouns the name

left message regarding safety meetings. left an 866 number to  call them back. obvious telemarketers.

Calling me several times a day, never leaves a message.  I have never answered a call from them and have no idea what they want or who they are.  

They called my government issued cell phone. It's definitely a scam.

I get the same thing.  Many calls.  No message.  I picked up once and the line was empty.

Tried calling at 12:45am on my business number. I was fast asleep and luckily they shot straight to voice mail as I do with business calls after 5. Message was empty.

Left no message.  Adding to block list.

That's exactly what you do.You ask them for proof of the supposed unpaid bill. If they ask you to verify ANY information, refuse. Just tell them to send the supposed bill tothe address they have on file.
