Did they say who they are?

Caller asked to be transferred over to someone in IT.  I asked which department and caller just said any.  Most calls usually know where they need to go but not this person.  My guess is it's most likely telemarketing.

Call from 1-312-379-9359 first thing this morning.  No response when answered.  I allow a three "hello" minimum on calls.  If no response - I hang up!  Don't waste my time!  Guess it's telemarketing.

Left message, trying to drum up support for a local school board candidate.  Why it's coming in from Chicago is beyond me.

They just called me and said that they were a food/agriculture subscription co. and they need our most up-to-date info in order to release their new directory.

I am getting call from 312-379-9359 and no one is on the line! I am in Louisiana! Does anyone know who this is?

This number calls me at least 5-6/week.... as soon as the phone is answered, the line hangs up. I call back trying to get removed from this call list and there is no answer... HELP!

Received call. I answered but no one responded. I called back and it went to voice mail saying the "Google Account" was available and to leave a message.

I get a call from this number twice a day, everyday.  They never leave a voicemail.  I've attempted to call back a few times and get "this google subscriber is not taking calls, please leave a message"  (or something to that tune).

This number called our office at least 8 times today.  There is never anyone on the other end.

Getting a lot of calls from this number this week. Just got a voicemail from the that said only, "Good Afternoon."

It occurs to me that I recently signed up for a Best Buy customer card and gave my telephone number to them. I wonder if that's what's triggered the spam calls.

Called the workplace. Lady spoke quickly with a heavy accent; said she was calling regarding my manager's free subscription. Asked details which were not all that personal, and certainly not impossible or even difficult to find out on the internet, but I still felt somewhat uncomfortable answering (the year I graduated, in order to verify that we spoke about a "free subscription" today, for example).

Called today, I said hello 3 times, finally a message stated that they wanted to talk to me about my subscription & I hung up.

Call was received at work.  A man with a nearly indecipherable accent wanted to renew my free subscription to a magazine that I didn't even realize I was subscribed to.  He asked a bunch of multiple choice questions about my job, the size of my company, what my company manufactures, etc.  Sometimes none of the given choices made any sense.  I have neither the time nor the patience for this type of silliness.

I get this call three/five a day @ the office, brief voicemail saying "we will try you back"
If i pick up there is no response to my standard company greeting.
frustrating and a waste of time.

I also receive approx 3+ calls/day from this call center. I think they are selling (say it's free) magazine subscription. They ask for different field staff names each time. Not sure what they are selling exactly but, they claim they need to update their personal information. I've requested they stop calling our office # and to place our tel # on DNC list but, they continue to keep calling.  

This number calls my office in waves. I'll get several calls a day for several days in a row, nothing for a few weeks before it starts over again. I never pick up because I don't recognize the caller and they never leave a message.
