"Allied Financial Partners", 180 N Stetson Av, Chicago IL 60601.  removal # 855-613-4030.  Fax for a pre approved unsecured working capital loan!  Who falls for this crap?

Received an unsolicited fax from Allied Financial Partners at the office I'm a gatekeeper for. Quite clearly a scam as if they were legitimate they would have our current address on the "Not a check a real check" (yes, that's what it says). We haven't been located at that address in over 10 years.
This number is on the fax as the direct line to David Abbot, National Account Manager.

A lot of people must fall for it or it wouldn't be worth their while to send out millions of these things.  After all, rarely do they get caught, and if they do, how much time to you think they spend in prison?  None...they are fined and told not to do it again.  System works so well...

First of all, it costs them barely pennies to bulk send these things so even a few gullible responses makes it worth their while and then some. As for what happens when they are caught - how do you KNOW they don't spend any time in prison and are just fined?
