I too experienced a call from this number. Many times it has called. the person on the other end has a very heavy India accent. The call was about a bladder mesh surgery, I had no idea what that was, but the creepiest part about it was that I just had people with the same accent trying to get information from me (Credit Card) to be exact because I was experiencing a pop up on my internet service that had read, Problem with this computer, may have a virus, call this number immediately. So when I called the number back that appeared on my computer monitor, one thing lead to another and before I knew it, I was being asked for my information. I do not know for sure if the two incidences are connected in anyway however, I feel that being so close in date that maybe they are indeed hackers of some sort, or fraud. Anyways, he was very aggressive telling me to listen to him, blah blah, and it absolutely made no sense of the phone call anyways. I felt threatened, I felt like my privacy was being violated, and very disrespected by the individual. When I expressed my concerns, he practically refused to comply with me. I am still angered at the situation. It sounded like he was reading from a script because he kept repeating the same old words over and over again, but he had no rebuttals. So that was what made me suspicious. Because as a telemarketer, you have to have rebuttals when people turn you away.

Call blocker might be of some help.  Also don't pick up on numbers you do not recognize, or where there are caller IDs that seem odd.  Or where there is no caller ID.  There’s  no way to stop the calls from being initiated.  Scam calls. Originate in India and Pakistan.  Police can't do much about it.

Calls originate in India and Pakistan.  They are hard core scammer/extortionists and as such beyond the reach of anyone's law.  Local governments do nothing.  Invest in a call blocker.

This started on October 8th they called me 12 times I answered a few times and told them to quit calling me. They kept saying but ma'am you had bladder sling or mesh put in 10 years ago and your medical records have been compromised. They are very persistent. Today is October 9th and they've called 6 times I finally answered it the 6th time and when they asked me if I had bladder sling put in I said yes so they transferred me to a different man, who claimed he was my claim advisor supervisor whatever well I let him talk for a little then said so your the supervisor he said yes ma'am I said well I'm gonna tell you right now this needs to end y'all have called me 6 times today and 12 times yesterday I've never had surgery and don't need compensation for it told him to have a great day and if the calls didn't end I would be getting them for  harassment and hung up on him. Hopefully the calls stop!

Got a call yesterday.  Same, regarding a bladder surgery. Thing is, I did have bladder surgery a few years ago, & I know there are lawsuits regarding mesh.  I assumed they must have gotten a list of people who had the surgery, & were sharks. Thing is, I didn't have mesh, & I told them that, but as someone said, they are very insistent.  Kept trying to "hook" me, even though I repeated I didn't have mesh. Sounded Middle Eastern. Anybody else who got these calls actual,y have bladder surgery?

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

Report your callers here, not just to the DNC alone:

    https://consumercomplaints.fcc.gov/hc/en-us
    https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

You need a call blocker.  For a smart phone you may have an app installed by the manufacturer or you can download one.  For a simple cell phone ask your carrier.  Or put the pest in your contacts list and give them the ring tone "no ring" or "silence".  For a land line a call blocker is an electronic box that plugs into the phone line and the power line between the wall and the phone.  You can buy one on Amazon or at Best Buy.

These guys are calling me 2-3 times a day now from various numbers:
    561-806-0015 FL
    718-354-1385 NY
    202-000-0010 DC
    312-625-9237 IL
    786-701-4001 Miami

They are always Indian, they usually say they are from the Health Care Center, Medical Health Care Center, Legal Health Center. etc. They keep calling from the same number until I block that number from my actual phone, then within 20 minutes, they call from another number. It is driving me crazy!
