312-626-2997. Message pretends to be "legal courier" and says you must be present (where?) to receive requirement for lawsuit.

What exactly is this scam.   It's awful,  this man comes on and says he's delivering these documents.   Can anyone shed some light on this telephone number.   I tried calling and it went into a FAX line.

Left message saying his name is James Riley and that he will be serving papers between 10-12 on Tuesday June 29. Hard to understand as he mumbled through the entire message. Indicated I needed to have ID and if I couldn't be there, I could call this number and speak to his employer.

Ignore the call. Real process servers do not call ahead, they simply show up unannounced.  This is probably a debt collector using scare tactics to get you to call back so they can bully you into paying without them proving you owe the debt and they have a legal right to collect it as required by Federal law.

J &k assoctaves legal papers my immediate response is required

This man called and identified himself as J&K Associates and told me that I have 24 hours to returning his call.  However, in the back ground, I heard a loud TV or radio on.  Yes, he was also mumbling as well which immediately told me that he is nothing but I debt scammer.

I, however played along and start questioning his information and who is the original creditor Without giving any personal information period.

Scam! Thinks he's smart. Told him to go suck something.  He called me back trying to act all big and bad. What a joke!

He's an idiot. Trying to claim he has court papers to deliver to me. It doesn't work that way. I live in a small community and I know the person (the only person) who delivers all the court summons in this area. If my name ever came up in any court document, seeing as how half the employees at the court house are my relatives, I'm pretty sure I'd know about it. LOL!!!!!! This guy is a joke!

Scam! This is a scam claiming they have a court summons to deliver. They never give the name of the person they are looking for and apparently they have no idea how a court summons really works. It may be a debt collector using this as a scare tactic, but seeing as how I know for a fact that I don't owe anyone money, it's just some guy with a small [***] and a pathetic life trying to get money from people because he's too lazy to get a real job.
