We have received at least 12 calls from NORC U Chicago, even after we have repeatedly asked them to stop calling.  They ask for personal medical information about the members of our household, which we are not going to give to strangers over the phone, though they assure us it would be anonymous(never mind that they have our address and phone number).  When we don't answer they leave messages on our answering machine asking someone to call them back to finish the survey.

I'm getting the same.  They keep repeatedly calling me.  I told them they are calling a cell phone.  They want to ask personal questions about medical conditions of family members.

They're from the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago.

They claimed to be CDC doing Public Health Survey. I told them I'm NOT interested and they said that they called the other but it was unfinished. I told them if it was unfinished, obviously i'm NOT interested. I told them I don't care if I get CANCER, AIDS... BLAH BLAH BLAH and die tomorrow... She still kept going and the survey only takes a few minutes... I told her if I don't care if I die tomorrow? Why would I wanted to complete the survey, kinda stupid if I don't care if I die tomorrow right? She was like, thankx and have a good night, LMFAO.

Seriously, tell them the same thing. I'm sure they won't bother you, hehehehehehe

OK so they call me again today, LOL. This time I listened to the HO and wanted to hear what she had to say, LMFAO. She started to ask if I recieved a letter from the CDC, I said NO. She asked if the correct address was..... I said NO. She said well, if this isn't the correct address and name than thank you for your time, she hung up.

I call back the number 312-759-4898. I said someone just called me about a survey but I was NOT the person or the address of whoom a woman just called. But I would like to participate in the Survey, LMFAO.

She said I can't since my household had NOT been selected by the Computer to participate in the Survey but thank you for calling us back. LOL

Hmmmmm. I wonder what do I have to do next, LMFAO

Yeah they're super annoying at NORC My ex. Works there and I never gave her my house number. Somehow she found out what it was and called my house (stalker) telling my mom she had to do this stupid ass survey. My mom yelled at her and basicly got owned by my mom and she never called back. LOL.

Norc U  Chicago calls twice a day every day so email RonJurek @Norc.org and give him your regards...every day! it probably won't stop the calls... but it will annoy him.I know I will.Also email everyone listed on their board of directors page I think they are real people and maybe they will enjoy some spam every day.

I started getting calls from this number first week in April, 2010...
Now they are coming everyday. Now when shows up on my caller ID screen, I don't pick up and I have cut my answering machine off.  I don't really need  it anyway.
