- D'rangeSeems like they call us phishing to see when we're home. There is always a rush of static on our answering machine and it hangs up, and on the two occassions before we got wise and answered ourselves, it did that too.

so. I then filed a complaint with the FTC- Call type: Survey

- concerned parent| 1 replyThey have called everyday for the past month. I finally answered this evening because I am sick of the calls. They started out by saying they were with the CDC and doing an immunization survey of children under 3. I told tham that I did not have any children under three, so they asked if I had any children under 18. I replied yes, so they asked the age of the child. When I told them the age they said, 'Now we need to ask some health related questions about your child.' I told them 'no' that I would not answer any other questions. They said, 'Can I ask why not?' I said, 'Yes, because it is none of your business.' And with that the call ended. From what I read online though, this will probably not end these calls. The 'Do Not Call Registry' does not protect against survey calls, so basically they can continue to call us at all hours of the night and day, as well as on weekends. GRRR!!!!!!

- BillReceived 4th call from Norc U Chicago with caller ID showing 312-759-5298. I immediately hung up and called the number right back. It was answered by a woman identifying herself as "Coretta Coldwell." I told her I was not interested in what they were trying to do and demanded they remove me from their database and calling list. She said she would take care of it. I also told her if I receive another call from them I will report them ( using her name ) to the Attorney General in my state and in her state. For anyone reading this note, you now have a persons name to include on any complaints you may wish to file against this group for violation of the National Do Not Call Registery.

- Annoyed no more| 5 repliesThis number has called every day for several weeks. I finally called it back, asked to be removed, and they politely and quickly obliged. The whole process probably took at most a minute.
- AelisMy friend recieved a call from NORC U CHICAGO, (1-312-795-5298) tonight. At first when she told me, I assumed it was a prank call, but then she gave me the number from the caller and the caller's ID. Seeing the 312 number, I knew that it was not from around here. The caller was an older man, as stated by my friend, and she said that he was asking her to pray with him and to ask for forgivness of her sins. She flipped out and told me about it, so I went on the web and found this site. So, I learned how other people recieved calls by this number.

- steveMy mom started the survey and when she found out that is was going to take a half hour she said hell no!! They've been calling around the same time every day for the past few weeks asking for her to finish it and immediately after I say she's not here the lady says she'll call back and hangs up! Today I told her not to call again and that my mom didn't want to take it and when she said she was going to call back I was about to flip but she hung up. Next time they call i'm going to start swearing and threatening to call my Attorney General and I might just drop a name to him ^^

- Victoria| 1 replyI got this number on my caller id and reported it in another site. Apparently, they have had a lot of people report it. I got the call Saturday morning. When I through my mail Saturday afternoon, I had a letter from the CDC saying that I had been randomly selected to answer a survey regarding vaccinations for children and they would be calling in the next few weeks. Maybe they are connected, and I know CDC outsources, but never in the letter did CDC say anything like a company called (whatever) will be contacting you and this company represents us. So there is no way I will be doing their survey. Hope this helps some of you.
- Teri| 2 repliesThis number keeps calling!!! Won't answer and if I do I pick up the phone and slam it down. They don't get the hint and its really pissing me off. I am on the do-not-call list, so if they keep calling me I am going to report it. QUIT CALLING
- AMC| 1 replyThis is a legitimate survey call on behalf of the Centers for Disease control. Contrary to what you may think, political calls and survey calls ARE ALLOWED under the Do No Call legislation. If you want them to stop calling you, answer the phone and ask not to be contacted again. They will comply with your request - otherwise they will keep calling you because that is the CDC requirement.
