Called, no message.

Got a call from this number last night, Saturday, about 7:30 PM. Did not pick it up. When I looked at the tele number, I did not recognize it, even though I am from Illinois. It was not from any relatives there. There was also no message left. So I think it is "phishing". Some kind of con sales call. Delete it immediately!!!!!

Got call from this number.   Said it concerned my credit card or something.   I didn't wait to hear the entire message.  I am so tired of these calls I feel like changing my cell phone number.   I have the number on the Do Not Call registry but that doesn't seem to stop them.

I answered it because it was an IL call and I'm from IL (but haven't lived there in years).  It was a recoding telling me that I had signed up for a contest and won a cruise.  Listed off 3 cruise lines that I could win it from, and then told me to press 1 to speak with an agent or press 2 to be added to their do not call list.

Got this call @ 1:22 on Saturday.   From Chicago, IL. Did not recognize or answer.

Received call, did not answer as I don't answer unknown calls in that not programmed to phone or SIM; did not go to voice mail since no message was left; I have found out if they connect the bill is on them, especially with cell or different land line types, so don't answer; if they connect like even with voice mail, that call is on them; my cell service is one with free voicemail service so there's not any cost of that; oh well their loss

They called me I wasn't around to answer but they left no message.

Got a call a few minutes ago from this number.  Caller ID said "Unknown Name" and didn't leave a message when I wouldn't pick up.  Has to be a scammer or telemarketer.  I'm on Do Not Call list but get these anyway.  Do Not Call list is a big JOKE, just like privacy is!

Scam - Tried me one time I won a prize.   The next time they trying to sell me something wikthin a few days. Lol

800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either or remove from a list.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.
