I received a text message alert directing me to call this number.  I called and the number, it rang once, but there was no pick up

I just received identical message. Did not call it.

SCAM. DO NOT RETURN CALL.

Rec'd achieved message. Did not call back!

Also received a text from Achieve card. I called it and it said my prepaid VISA Achieve card (which does not exist) was compromised and I needed to enter the number starting with a number they listed.

I received text to call 312-800-9253 at 10:29 this AM. Did not call.  I wish these people would find something to occupy their time in a useful way.

Idiots that do this should have their phones disabled and fined $1000 by the FCC

I just received a text, same as the ones described above.  Thank goodness for Google!  How to report this to the FTC?

This evening I received a text message from the number 312-800-9253.  Although it's my personal cell, I feel the company should not take it upon themselves to send text messages if you have not ordered or inquired about any merchandise.

Received the same message.  Not real.  Don't call the number and report to the FBI Internet Crime and Fraud complaint center:

My husband & I both received a text message instructing us to call right away with regard to our Achieve Cards. We do not even have such card.  Agree w/Mike above, the scammer should have their phone disabled & fined $1,000.00.

When are the "powers that be" going to address this issue.

I received the same exact message as you did - I do not have a prepaid Visa either - I knew right away it was a scam - I hope others get smart & the butt munches stop scamming.

I received a text today (2-18-14) from 312-800-9253 that said:

I didn't; I googled instead and here I am. Thanks KT for the advice. That is my next step!

I called it asked for my last for of my social then I hung up
