These calls just started today...on my ID it says People, I did some further investigating and
it is a company called Safe Guard America. I dug a little deeper and found several people
have complained about them because they asked to be removed from their Call List and
the caller refused and said they were going to call them again and again...I do not want
them harassing me like that.

Caller Id says "People" - did not pick up

Got a new phone number and started getting phone calls saying they are not solciting anything but want to know if I had smoke detectors in my house. They say they are trying to make america safe. Bull, they are trying to sell you a home security system. I said not answering and hung up.

I get a call from this number, or "People" about once a month.  I don't answer, they don't leave a message, but I can usually hear call center noise in the background before they hang up on my machine.

Just wanted to add -- this is just one more number to add to the list of 'home security system' calls I get almost daily from different states/names on the caller ID.  Apparently they also have no fear of the "do not call" list.

We've gotten several calls from this number, and the caller ID shows the name "People". Interesting little note: while our answering machine message is playing, someone is "meowing" in the background. Oh yes, that's definitely incentive for us to pick up the phone. Pffft.

The person told me they were looking for my relatives I asked how do you know the person you are asking for they said we don't. I hung up.

The person asked for someone that did not live in the home, when I told him he had the wrong number he said "no, oh maybe I got it wrong, I want to talk to you. Don't want these calls

Could hear lots of distant people taking on phones in the background but couldn't make out what they were saying.  A man sais "hello"  then was quiet for a few seconds & said "hellooo" & quiet for a few more seconds then hung up the phone.

Reporting caller as I'm on the do not call list.

Getting the same calls. You have to follow through if you want them to stop . Keep track report them and we can stop them.Most people do not want to take the time to follow through. You can have them fined shut down as well as be compensated for your trouble.

Got a call from them too, the lady was trying to talk with an accent, but you could tell it was a fake brittish accent. Ask me all these questions about my smoke detector and how many I had.  I told her I not answering anymore question and she tried to talk above me when I raised my voice a little, she tried to yell back at me, but the only problem is that she didn't know I can outloud her.  HEHeHe.
