This number 313-263-1170 have been calling me but leave no message

got call today from 313-263-1170 and 313-253-1172. they called a cell number few people know. phone is usually off. no message. did not answer.

Credit Acceptance. They have managed to break every single law regarding repossessions in Massachusetts. They followed up their fraudulent repo with phone calls on Sunday mornings at 8 a.m. Another violation.

been getting calls from this number and 313-263-1172 to my cell phone almost daily since the first of the year on my cell phone.  the only people I give this number to are close friends and family.  I've tried rejecting the calls and just not answering all together, but they are persistent.  yesterday I actually answered to try to find out who they were and they wouldn't respond.  I threatened legal action.  got 3 more calls today from the 1170 number

How is calling on a Sunday at 8 am a violation?  If this is an original creditor they are not covered under the FDCPA, but even if they were, calls are allowed from 8 am to 9 pm your time.

This appears to be a subprime car loan finance company.  If you have a car that if financed through them, then that is why they are calling.  If you do not, then you need to send them a certified, return receipt "not me" letter.  You can easily find their address on the internet.

I have been getting calls and so has my husband. We have been scammed once and would like to know if this is another scam number
