I received a call from them but was not here to take it. No message on the answering machine. A quick google of the number reveals that this is Convergent Outsourcing, a bottom feeder debt collection agency. I have only a car payment which is up to date and no past due bills so I know the call was not for me. Informing them of this would not stop the calls if they are of the same ilk as other [***] like them so I added it to my CallClerk call blocker list. They are just another scammer as far as I am concerned.

If you are getting many calls a day from this number you might take a look at <http://www.fschulmanlaw.com/>  for some relief. They represent people who are being harassed by debt collectors, and you may even be able to collect $1000 from Convergent. Most of these debt collectors misrepresent themselves, make blatant outright lies, and fail to identify themselves.

Or you can get a call blocker. My CallClerk call blocker does not have the 250 number limit like the Panasonic phone call blockers.

Got this call on 4/30, 2:45 pm eastern time. No message. CID said Convergent. I never answer calls from names & numbers I don’t know or call them back. Nothing but a scam, using a spoofed local area code & phone number.
