No message left, looked them up on Google. Purporting to be a company surveying customer interest in companies and websites. In other words, they call you if you logged onto a website and talking to them for 20 to 30 minutes. I also checked out employees view of the company. Like all other boiler room operations, they treat their workers like crap, cancelling and expanding shifts, without warning. Basic take, you have to be really desperate to work there. Google them yourself.- Caller: Boiler room
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- MikeHuntleton replies to ddmIt is always amazing how people who have no clue pretend to go search something out and then make misleading posts that are totally incorrect. They call random numbers, not people who talked to them for 20-30 minutes from a website. If you read a few of the reviews on Glassdoor and chose to select a few bad ones as your reason to classify them as "boiler room", then you are a moron.
A simple search of the name "DYNATA" yields a wealth of info about who they are and even provides a website where you can opt out of calls, had you been realistic in your research.

Do you know what the word "Prupoting" means? I doubt it since they are a telephone survey company.Quote:Purporting to be a company surveying customer interest in companies and websites.
Exactly what website(s) are you talking about and why would you "talk" to them on that website(s) for 20 to 30 minutes?Quote:In other words, they call you if you logged onto a website and talking to them for 20 to 30 minutes - ddm| 3 repliesResponding to the last two posts:
Big A misspelled the word "Purported" as Pruported - I don't know what that means either but Purported means "claimed as" or "set forth by a person or entity". I'll admit my grammar was confusing but this is a 6 month old posting
I did look into the Dynata website before I posted and looked into complaints about the company.
But first and foremost - this number associated with Dynata now comes up as "Spam Risk". They hang up after my answering machine starts leaving a second or two of either silence of boiler room chatter. In response to the first poster who graciously noted that we have the right to opt out of calls - let me remind that person that the reason for the Do Not Call registry IS our opt-out for unsolicited calls from companies like, well, yours.
I guess Big A is the de facto moderator of 800notes and all I can say is thanks for all the work you do here for this valuable service.- Caller: unsolicited caller
- Call type: Telemarketer

That designation is supplied by the phone carrier based on complaints by people like you who don't know and don't bother to look into the call and then simply classify every single one as "spam/scam/telemarketer".Quote:this number associated with Dynata now comes up as "Spam Risk".
Unfortunately for you the DNC list does not include telephone surveys which you perfectly well should know since it was very clearly explained to you when you signed up. https://consumer.ftc.gov/articles/national-do-not-call-registry-faqsQuote:In response to the first poster who graciously noted that we have the right to opt out of calls - let me remind that person that the reason for the Do Not Call registry IS our opt-out for unsolicited calls from companies like, well, yours.Quote:Are any other types of calls still allowed under FTC rules if I’m on the Registry?
The rules allow
political calls
charitable calls
debt collection calls
purely informational calls
surveys
But these calls can’t also include a sales pitch.
Again, assuming facts not in evidence. Try again little troll because I really doubt that you are that person from April.Quote:I guess Big A is the de facto moderator of 800notes - MikeHuntleton replies to ddm| 1 reply
Yep, that was me.Quote:In response to the first poster who graciously noted that we have the right to opt out of calls - let me remind that person that the reason for the Do Not Call registry IS our opt-out for unsolicited calls from companies like, well, yours.
Well, before you go running off with the mouth as if you know what you're talking about, perhaps you need to go back to where you signed up for the DNC and try to understand what it actually covers.
The reason Dynata offers an opt-out is because surveys are not covered by the National Do Not Call registry.
You silly person, it is not my company. I am flattered that you think because I am educated and can explain useful information about a company, that it must be mine. - BigA replies to MikeHuntletonDyanta's gross income is 730.3 Million. I'm surprised that you didn't tell us that you were a Millionaire!!! :>)
