Just got a call from these people. They left no message and the caller id said QVD.

this number called said Corporations for Character, told them I am on do not call list and hung up - caller ID said QVD

Call received from this number at 12:01 PM, PDT, on June 24, 2015.

Caller ID read as CORP4CHARACTER.  They left no message.

Phone wrang twice. Female asks for the woman of the house and hung up.
They are continus.  Sometimes no one speaks or they hang up. Tried calling the number back and get wrong number try again.

Automatically blocked: Since I've switched to a cell phone, installed the 'NQ Call Blocker' app, and used its setting change to only accept calls from phone numbers I want, it is hanging up on 100% of all incoming Unwanted calls.  I go to the app>Main screen>Funnel icon>Blocking mode>Accept ONLY FROM WHITELIST and CONTACTS.  Add the phone numbers you wish to receive calls from to your Contacts (as normal) and/or add non-contacts that you wish to receive a call from to the Whitelist.

Called at 9:30 pm local time, left no message. Telemarketers...scum of the earth

called ID says "corp4character" and QVD (Quality Voice and Data).   Apparently (according to sources on the web) QVD sells local phone no's to telemarketers who then start the calls.  Those from this no (314-450-8194) appear to be a scam - asking for info and eventually claiming they are soliciting money for some charity (a cancer society, etc).  They woke my 90 year old father up in the very early AM (apparently they start early in the AM east coast time and we (my father and I) live in HI - so unfortunately we often get such calls, when we do get them, in the "middle of the night" (what's 8AM on the east coast is either 3 or 2 AM here....) or in the very early AM.  And sometimes just during regular business hours (HI time).  My father was unable to get to the phone before it went to the answering machine (on 6 rings) - when he picked it up he only got a busy signal and apparently no message was left.  A feature of his phone allowed me to track back the no. (couldn't use *69 as another call had come in before he had the chance to wake up a bit more and hit *69.  The other info in this message is what I gleamed from goggle searches.  Here's hoping he's only been hit once by these people as this does look very much like a real scam and not legit telemarketing (for those who work for the later, I feel some compassion - it must truly be horrid to have such a job - and it's the only job they can find to keep a roof over their head (and their families) and food in their bodies.  To those who are participating in scam telemarketing - may they reap what they've sown - no sympathy from me for them.

Our business just received a call from this number on a secondary line that we do not have published.  Started talking before I even had the phone up close enough to speak into.  "Hello, this is Don.  And I have a quick question for you.  If the presidential election were tomorrow, who would you vote for?"  I immediately thought it was one of those robo calls that is suppose to sound like a live person so I didn't say anything, just listened.  Then I hear....."Hello".  I immediately hit the mute button just so I could listen....."Hello..is anyone there?......Hello..I can't hear you.  Hello..Hello...I'm sorry but I can't hear you if you are trying to talk.  I will call back later."  All I could think of was   'what an idiot'.  I never even answered the name of our business or even said hello.

"QVD" is what the caller ID said. A guy asked me who I was voting for if the election was held tomorrow. I hung up on him right after that. He called our BUSINESS line and didn't even think twice before he starting blabbing about crap. So irritating.

Got a call from this number, caller ID shows "Name Unknown" did not leave a call..

This number called in the morning before anyone came into the office. There was no message. It also looks like this number called back on January 18 of this year as well.

They called me. No message.

Got the call. Didn't answer. After 8:30 PM

Employee handed phone to me saying someone wanted to speak to boss. I answer but no one's there.
