Came up as Brooklyn Special

I got a call..Came up as FALL SPECIAL.  No one on the line.

Name came up as "Delivery Dept" - told google voice to get a voicemail,
they left no message.

I called it back it was disconnected

always received a call from this number, but no one answers, can this be Daily News?  I received calls from them before harassing me to subscribe.

my wife answered it and they said they were from new york daily news.

Have had several just today (4/9/12). No one answers - just hang up. Caller ID shows Delivery Dep.

This number keeps calling me every couple of days at my work number.  I just ignore.

No answer when I say hello.  5 seconds in I'm guaranteed a hangup.  Been calling EVERY day over the last week.  I call back and they say they're just trying to get me a deal but to remove my name/number leave a message and they will remove me.  Of course the mailbox is full and it won't accept any new messages.  UGH!

This may be a call center to keep nagging people to re-subscribe to newspapers, or to pay a subscription fee to keep a newspaper subscription coming to you. They computer call you, then wait to detect a voice on the line, then are supposed to switch you to a person. However, the vast majority of the time, nothing happens and the line hangs up.

ID Says Delivery Dept.  I see the postings here are from 2010.  Well it's now 2014 and they are starting again.  Where do these people get the ideas for these ID's?  Do they really think I would answer a call with an ID of Delivery  Dept?

Got a call this morning.. No message left.
My philo is If I do not know the number I will not answer.
If they need to contact me, then leave a freaking message!

Same as all the above in the comments about this rouge waste our time dialer. Hay FCC, try it your self! Don't forget you work for us to look into this crap...

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

They called - our digi tone call blocker blocked their call.  We have had the 314 area code blocked for about 1 1/2 years.  They can change phone numbers but if they call from the 314 area code - THEY ARE BLOCKED - BLOCKED FOREVER.

Our phones do not ring when a blocked call comes in and our office is not disturbed.
Please purchase a call blocking device or a blocking phone.  Put these bas - tards out of business!
