I am on the do not call list and recieved a call from these people. I asked them how they got my number and they said from a survey I completed for Home Depot, Target, or Walmart. I informed them that I never took a survey and that I am on the do not call list. The guy took my number and promised to remove it but how did they get this number to begin with?

This is a scam call from a bill collector to verify your home address and phone number location, I worked for them they run the calls thru a 314 area code got sick after one week of hasseling people who in most cases are unable to pay bills due to being unemployed.

Please remove me my number 619 838 4250 off your calling list

Will you please post the REAL name of the collection company that is using this 314 number?

I do know that company's do not necessarily have to get a number from anyone.  A computer can randomly call numbers until one is reached.

A number that appeared on my cell phone caller ID.  I searched here to see what it was.  apparently spam caller.

I do not need any help from the IRS or walmart or target or anywhere!!!!!!!!!!

Got call from same number, call id said it was "Promos WCA". Calls start out as recording encouraging you to dial '1' for help with IRS problems. I researched this company on the net and it appears they are calling to sell several different products or services. I don't have any past due bills, so that would not be an issue.

I am also on the do not call registry and advised the caller of that fact and told them they were violating the law. They said sorry and hung up. I went online and filed a complaint with the FTC. If enough people complain about this company maybe the feds will do something about it.

My phone rang and this number showed on my called ID. I do not answer numbers I do not know and the caller from this number did not leave a message so I decided to google the number only to find more complaints here about this number. Like most people here I am on the Do not Call Registry and I am going to report this number if it is from telemarketers.

I hung up right away but it was a recording about insurance.

I didn't know the number so didn't answer.  Will tell to remove number if they call again.
