Transworld Debt Collections

I received a phone call from this number. They ask to speak with me then proceed to say "I need to verify my seven year old sons DOB" I then say "well what is the nature of the debt for a seven year old"? Then the representative says to me "well just read the letters I know you've received from us" in a very nasty tone. Which I have not received. I called back to speak with a supervisor, who informs me beacuse of hippa law she can't disclose any info to me, well I work in the medical profession and i know hippa only kicks in at age 18. This is concerning to me cause I would hate for someone to have stolen my sons identity.

Not sure we you are from but where i live it applies to anyone 12 and up.  Neither my daughter pediatrician nor her md now would not discuss her medical with me without her permission.

I just got a call just like that and I ask what was this about she want me to give her info and I said what is this about she said your son real nasty and I hung up

Yes, it is Trans World Systems, debt collections, generally medical debt in my experience.
