The caller would not say what she was calling for, so I would not acknowledge who I was until.   We went back and forth.  She subsequently, disconnected the call.

Called my cell this evening and did not leave a VM

This call came through just now on my cell phone. My cell company had it marked as "potential spam". I googled the number and another robocall blocking site said it was a debt collector. But for me, they left a voicemail and it apparently was my health insurance company regarding a prescription. The message was specific enough for me to believe that for me, at least, this was a legit call.   But of course it's also possible that for other people, the number could be spoofed by scammers. Proceed with caution.

ROBO call message to call regarding prescription benefits

Watch this one! It came up on my landline as CIGNA which is my health ins co. Google indicates it is a debt collector...I have no debt!

I called the number left in voicemail, claiming to be from Cigna. Trying to get me to sign up to get meds through mail, asked for my insurance and personal info. They are not actually from Cigna at all.

Fake caller! Scammer pretending to be CIGNA Corp. Don't answer and block if you can.

Same as above.  Showed as potential spam, robo voicemail said Cigna, and to call for benefits info.

Scammer pretending to be Express Scripts.

They called, said they were from Cigna and wanted to talk to me about my scripts/getting them from mail order.  However, she spoke so fast that I had trouble understanding her.  AND she neglected to even ask for me by name or verify that she was talking to me.  I already get some of my meds via mail order, so I’m questioning the legitimacy of this call.

Do you often look up known phone numbers when there's no logical reason to do so?

Called claiming to be from Medicare and asked if I got my new card in the mail. When I said no she asked for my Medicare number which immediately raised red flags… I hung up

Beware. They're purporting to be Cigna. Sounds legitimate but they're phishing for personal info. Call Cigna using # on the back of your insurance card and verify the legitimacy of call.

They had my insurance info from cigna, including plan number and department info I did NOT volunteer. Verizon indicated number was from cigna health. They did sign me up for home delivery, but worth a pharmacy that turned out to be real and local-ish (hour away but did deliver by mail) but dirty and wreaked havoc on my bills and prescriptions, filling old ones I never asked for and failing to use my secondary insurance. I ended up spending lots of time dealing with aftermath and tried several times to get cigna to do investigation, which they said cleared the pharmacy. Pharmacy did later cancel the copay they billed me for but it was a dirty scheme. Learn from my mistake. I think it's a dirty third party. Not a true scam, perhaps, but definitely dirty

This number came up as Cigna Health. Woman was very pleasant, wanting to talk about pharma options/updates. Then she asked for my zip code and date of birth. Hung up right away!

This company calls my house several times per day, never leaves a message. Google says the number is the Feed Foundation but I doubt that.
