Got a call on my cell and did not answer.  Called back and a man with a slight accent answered.  He said I had "won" a $100 gift card.  He almost got me.  At the very end of the call, he asked for my debit or credit card info to pay the $4 shipping cost for the card.  I knew it was a scam at that point.  If I had "won" a gift card, they would have sent the card free of charge or had some other way of getting it to me.  AND why on earth would it cost $4 to ship a plastic card?  Stick it in an envelope and send it first class for less than .50.  Once I said "no thanks" he then tried to guilt me into going ahead and paying the $4 by saying "are you sure you want to pass on the $100 just because of the shipping?"  Well YEAH!!  Because there is NO card!  You haven't told me what company you are from and I don't KNOW you.  I'd rather be safe than sorry!!

I have gotten a couple phone calls from this number and i have not answerd or called back and i was wondering why i am getting phone calls from Missouri. I thought it was kinda weird

Just got this call.   When he asked for my address I knew it was a scam.  So I asked him what other information he would be asking for and he hung up on me!! Good saved me the trouble.   Hope no one falls for it!

You callers are either Indian or Pakistani scammer/extortionists and as such ignore all US laws.  Call blocker might help some.

When you receive these calls that only ring once or twice, for Pete's sake DO NOT CALL BACK! Sure you may be on the Do Not Call list, and that's the whole point of these callers only letting it ring once or twice, to get you to call back! That is their way around the Do not call list...You called them!...Plus it opens up the door for more calls from more scammers later. I don't understand some people. Don't stick your finger in that light socket, it will shock you!

Just got a call from this number to my cell and it rang once and hung up. Ever since I got a call from Texas saying I had a warrant for my arrest due to a pay day loan, I've been gething all sorts of calls from all over. It's like once one scammed gets through, all the scammed try.

I just got a call from 314-925-0492.  I didn't get a chance to answer because it only rang twice.  Thought I'd check online before I called back.  Glad I did.
