Apparently these people are extortionists

These guys pose as computer experts, often saying they are from Microsoft, and get you to visit a site that has you download malware. They they then use extortion to "help" remove it. Do NOT go to the web site, Do NOT download software. Never pay them cash.

At the least, this is an autodialed call. Our number is set up to reject those. Phone will ring once (long enough for the #to show on caller ID), then the caller is cut off.
I suspect it's a spam or scam caller using a spoofed number.
