Call ID just showed number, no name.  When I answered, it was a recording that immediately started ever before I could finish my greeting.  Says it was the IRS and they needed me to call them right back at this number to avoid further action.  Uh Huh....I got right on that.  Definite scam.  IRS does not call, they send letters.

No message was left but I returned the call. A male with a foreign accent answered stating they were the IRS. When told he wasn’t the IRS he asked me to stop calling him. My reply each time you call me I will call you back. “please stop callling, I won’t call again” was his reply!

Got a recorded message saying my social security number is locked because of suspicious activities. Asked me to press 1 for more information. I hung up instead

I received a voicemail from this number today which stated my social security number has been suspended due to suspicious activity.  This is a SCAM.  Do not answer.

Same! Robot voicemail stating they’re from Social Security Administration stating there is suspicious activity and gay I should press 1 for the case. Scam!!!!

Bad a scam pretending to be SSA who would never call people keep in mind the .gov always communicates by mail first

It is the "Department of Social Security Administration" they say that they are calling because they have "suspend" my SS number and I need to press 1 to find out why. Nothing but a scam.

Same as others-said it was Social Security and my number had been suspended.  I hung up.

Robot call... same as others have reported about it being from the Social Security offices and my number was suspended... obviously a scam!

Received a call from 315-215-1667 (Albany, NY).  I don’t pick up unknown or no name caller.  I let it go to voicemail.  The message sounds like a robot man voice and left the following message:
“_⁠_ about this case just press one thank you this call is from the Department of Social Security administration the reason you have received this phone call from our department is to inform you that we just suspend your Social Security number because we found some suspicious activity so if you want to know about this case just press one thank you…”

I’m really frustrated with this Scam callers.  Does anyone have a solution?
