Dangerous scam - voicemail left that said I would be “taken under custody by the local cops” and there were “4 serious allegations” against me. The voicemail didn’t identify the company the caller was from, and they didn’t have the name of the person they were looking for. Tried to Google this number and couldn’t find it associates with any major company. This was an identical voicemail to one left by another number 929-268-1029. I blocked this number and reported it.

Got three calls from this number yesterday within one hour (then I blocked the number). VMM left each time (did not answer) with a computer generated message saying there were four serious charges against me and I would be taken under custody by the “cops” if I did not call them back at the number listed (same number from which the call was made). It was clearly bogus but I am concerned about the vulnerability of others receiving such a threatening call.

They called to tell me I have 24 hours to call back or the local cops where going to came arrested me. Remember last year someone called me and told me the something. So I call back and it was disconnected. I was going to tell them I have been waiting a year for the cops to come and to tell them to have the cops please hurry up I been waiting
