    Said he was from Dell, we had bought a policy in March, said we had a virus on our computer (we are a business with multiple computers)
    He made it sound like I am supposed to magically know about this policy from March..

    Thanks Sara, I received a similar call this morning, the caller had a typical Asian accent, said he was from dell and that my computer had a bug, since i didn't believe him i asked for a call back number which he promptly gave as 315-352-0558. Later when i listened to him and checked my laptop he showed me those serious viruses and finally helped me resolve the issue. Thanks to this guy.

    Hi, I was in my driveway going to work when this indian guy called me from this number and informed me of the seriousness of the risk my computer would be at. Well i would say  though he was difficult to understand however he was sweet, i turned around and went home. After working on his instructions for about 35 minutes i was relieved that my computer is completely bug free and secured for the future.

    the caller, who called himself Paul, said he was calling from Internet Security, and was calling to clean up "threats" on my computer. He said he worked for Windows and he would not do anything to my computer, he just wanted to show me the "threats". That word "threats" is not a very welcome word in today's society. This number did not come up on caller ID, but he willingly gave me the number to call him back. I kept him on the phone for a few minutes and questioned him on just what he wanted and I pretended to be doing exactly what he was telling me to do hold the flag key and the letter r down),  when he asked me what was on my computer screen, I said "nothing". He yelled at me "How is that possible?!" So other than making him angry, I have nothing to report. But I find it hard to believe that there is an international "Internet Security" team that is calling everyone to find the "threats" that are claiming our innocent computers. I like to annoy callers that annoy me.
