Called Unknown Name, Unknown Number, with an East Indian accent, saying his name was Kevin Parker, supposedly from Windows Operating System's team.  Didn't know the OS of the machine that was supposedly the host of corrupt files, I told him there are currently three different OS in the home.

I was told that they received the warnings when someone in the house clicked on the "Send Error Report" button when they got an error message.  I informed him that no-one in the home sends the error reports, then he very condescendingly told me that I didn't understand what he was talking about.

I was also told that the number didn't appear on the display because they used a VoIP system... I find that a difficult pill to swallow.
He gave me the name of his supervisor, and the registration numbers for both him and his supervisor.  I will be calling them back to test the legitimacy of this claim, then filing a complaint if needs be.

Small correction to the above.  He said he was calling from the Computer Maintaining Department for Windows Operating Systems

This was a call that said that if I did not call back or my lawyer call that I could be arrested.
