pressed one and said "Illegal Robo call. This number has now been reported." and the guy on the other end still wanted my name. I sat the phone down and wasted his time......lol

Us retailer breech, what retailer?

Just called at 10:32am MST to my cell - in Canada, and on the do not call.

didn't answer - they left no message.  Called back 5 seconds later and again - left no msg.

315) 659-4594 caller ID says Antwerp NY. No Message. Now Blocked!

I wish I could block their calls.  I am trying to run a business and these crazy calls just won't stop.  I don't think the FCC or the phone company cares.  We need a better way to fight back.

I'm tired of all these calls from Google Specialists. Yes, my cell phone number appears my business website. New laws enable these companies to contact you even if you have your cell listed on the DNCL. The reason, it's associated with a business.

The other day, i spoke to one of these people and asked to be taken off their call list. Noting, that I have pressed #2 many times to be removed. i was told that their company required pressing #9.

I then followed up with, How many companies are calling stating they are Google Specialist?  He answered 23, that he was aware of.

No wonder I get anywhere from 2- 6 calls a day.

Have you ever signed up for a Google service using your Cell # or have it associated with a web site?

If so, the Do Not Call List does not apply  so I'm told.

Good Luck getting rid of these calls. Evidently, there are about 23 different companies authorized by Google to sell this service.

If you have ever done business with Google or one of their providers the DNC List does not apply.

Also, after investigating a law change a year or so ago telemarketers can harvest #'s off the web to call.

So, if your cell # is listed as a contact # on the web all bets are off and they can contact you.

The old days are no longer where cell #'s were private so to speak.

So sick of the phone calls from this and many other numbers.

I keep getting calls from various numbers across the US (texas, NY, Cali, etc.) saying they are from google and that my page is only 50% updated and that i need to complete my profile page. Other calls say that my listing needs updated.....I dont even know why i'm getting these calls....i dont have a google ad, i dont have a business profile page or anything like that.

The number just called 4 times in a row and hung up on me each time.  No one was on the other end and no voice recording.  Definitely a computer bot calling randoms.

"cant" should be can't.
"braking" should be breaking.

Hopefully you didn't let them have it in "ryting", else they would have had themselves a jolly good laugh, unless of course you first disclosed that you were in the 2nd grade.

I got a call from this number and didn't pick it up.  No message left.

Listen, you all are taking the calls WAY too seriously.  I find that playing the same game with them that they play with me gets better, albeit, slower results.  Here's what you need to do:
1.  Answer the phone.
2.  Tell them you are a new business and recently acquired the number.
3.  Let them give you the entire spiel concerning buying some bullsh*t subscription.
4.  Ask LOTS of questions.
5.  Appear interested in making the buy TODAY.
6.  After 15-20 minutes ask them for a call back number so you can discuss it with you husband/wife.
7.  They are NOT going to give you a number but say they will call you back.
8.  When they call back repeat steps 1 through 6.
9.  It takes them a minute to realize you are giving them the run around but they eventually catch on and leave you the hell alone.

As long as you have the time to play with them and enjoy it.   When an Inbound call , says it's "Local" but has the wrong area code - (315) 659-4594  I just let the machine pick it up - they rarely leave a message, anyway.
