Very low & mumbled--might be ACS Education Services  call them  & numbers. I've never had a student loan with anyone.

ACS loan for my son. Very soft mumbled message. He must have been an hour late on his payment. He's very responsible and lives on his own with a great job.

They're indeed a student loan company and only heard from them once. We had gone on vacation and our debit card was compromised, go figure! All that we paid with online checking were notified by phone and online. The only one that called us to inform they'd received our message was ACS. I'm not sure if folks know how many citizens choose not to pay their bills. I hate any calls and the telemarketers most of all. We all know that anonymous Programs can call 1000s of number in a day. You answer and your number just made it to the big leagues. These numbers are then saved and fed into a massive database. These lists of hot numbers are sold or traded in the scumbag world. Can you guess who else does this? Pretty much every charity does the same crap. Donate a few times and suddenly the calls and junk mail explodes. I stopped donating to all charities  and changed my number. I also submitted a change of address in big Sky Montana. So,far so good

This was ACS Education Services. A loan company for student loans.

The voice was transmitted so badly that it could not be understood at all.

They call and say "return this call as soon as possible" without identifying themselves! Seems like they call if my son is a few days late on his loan. This is ridiculous. I'm sure they have real deadbeats to chase!

You can't leave messages to the callers here. They don't read this.

Did you know you are responding to a post that's over a year old? I doubt Ashley is still reading it.

I answered and a man with his mouth too close to the phone mumbled garbled words I couldn't understand. Wanted my address and phone number to discuss student debt. I said "you have my phone number, you're calling it now!"
He couldn't discuss "my file" without this. I said that was fine with me. We are never behind in our payments! IDIOTS

Have loan but I have already contacted acs. I did not return call.

No message but I gather from these other reports that it is ACS. I do have a loan with them and this month's payment is late. When they call, though, they tell me they need to verify who I am and then ask me a bunch of personal information. I'm not going to give it. THEY called ME. They could be anyone posing as ACS. I'm not about to just give them a bunch of identifying information. I tell them to either email me or send in the mail. They say they can't do that. So I say, I guess we can't help each other.

Generally speaking: If I don't recognize the number, I don't pick up. I feel that if they can't leave a message, then whatever they're calling about can't be that important anyway.
