Scammer called impersonating windows IT, saying my computer was infected with a Trojan virus.

Received calls from number.   Caller ID from New York.    Just another annoying scam call trying to gain access to computer, etc.

caller id says Morrisonville Aux. Heavy India accent, but said his name was Jim Anderson and he was calling from "Windows." And that this was an emergency call concerning my computer. I told him I don't have a computer. "You don't have a computer?"  "No" He then hung up. Number is now blocked. :o)

We received a call from a scammer claiming to be calling from the "Windows Technical Department" to inform us that our "computer is infected with some harmful viruses."  The scammer attempted to support the claim by having me look at events in the Windows Event Viewer. received a phone call from this number stated that i had a virus and i needed ti turn my computer on because i had a virus and they are from windows IT department in Brooklyn NY I ask to speak to a supervisor first person who called me was David Miller the supervisor said the supervisor said his name was Beter William and then gave me  this number 315--407-0060 and said that I could called to verified but when I called it had a busy signal both numbers did.  remember they both wanted me to hurry to my computer i refused so Beter William hung the phone. I think this is a scam

Caller, with Delhi accent reports they are calling from Microsoft/ Windows service center because they are receiving reports regarding issues with my computer. (THIS IS A OLD ONGOING SCAM TO GET YOUR BIO INFO AND CREDIT CARD #). I replied that they serviced/ saved my computer two weeks ago and now it is working perfectly. (A LIE) I tell the caller it is the best $150.00 I have spent. (A LIE). I act as if this is a customer satisfaction survey and ask to speak to their supervisor so I can compliment them on this invaluable service. All of this causes no end of confusion for them and they hang up.

Claim to be Windows tech support. This is a known scam.

This is a definitate well known scam and the phone co as usual does nothing to stop them

Call from 315-825-8947.  I didn't answer the call, and they didn't leave a message.  I'm getting sick and tired of all these scam calls, wanting to fix my computer.

ID read morrisville aux said hello 2x then hung up.

These A holes have called my number 9 times today. Number now permanently blocked. END OF STORY!

These A$$holes have called 4 times today. How stupid can you be. I'm not answering! Thank you for everyone who posts here.
