Called, did not leave a message. Since I don't know anyone or do business with anyone in northern Louisiana, I assume it is a cold sales call or scam.

This number means nothing to me. I blocked it.

Caller ID indicates LEC. Caller left no message. Unknown out of state number so likely spam.

Call came 2 minutes after a call from 734-201-1448 "Pol Res" police charitable solicitation.
Coincidence - I don't think so. Google LEC, there are other phone #'s used by LEC

I am also one of the recipients of a phone call from this number, however it was blocked immediately after the first ring. Definitely a scam number when the caller ID name is again V followed by the date and time, then a series of unidentifiable numbers.

SCAMMER posing as fake police. BLOCKED

Caller ID displayed: Ruston, LA (318)232-4897: Unrecognized caller did not respond to me when I answered the phone & asked who was calling, only heard white noise. Told whoever was on the line I was hanging up and going to block and report them.

Got a call from this number yesterday (10/10/2017) at around 5 PM.  Caller ID showed "Out of area 1-318-232-4897".  As with all "Out of area" calls I let it roll thru to voice mail.  No message was left.  One strike, and you're out.  Blocked!

caller ID reads "LEC" - Law Enforcement Charity perhaps? One of the oldest scams in the (phone)book - they hung up on my answering machine - now blocked forever.

Fake police charity with a few cents out of each dollar actually going to the charity to skirt the law. Number blocked.

called at 1832 hrs. picked up phone, no one answered. no caller id.

Left a pre-recorded message saying "Hi, This is Adam"
