Called multiple times- caller left no msg they call early at 7am even weekends. when you pick up and try to talk to them they put you on hold .stupids

Called my land line, I didn't recognize the number so I didn't pick up. They didn't leave a message. My husband and I definitely don't have a reason for them to be calling.

This number has called repeatedly in the last 5 days, since I acquired my new cell phone. I answered once to get elevator music. I then texted to say do not be in touch my number is new and good luck reaching whomever they're trying reach. I now believe, seeing this number in google search various times, it is telemarketing or slamming they're trying to do and am going on my cell's website to block it.

Just ignore them - they generally just pester people. If you get a letter (and you may not), challenge them with a certified letter demanding legal confirmation of the debt (not that they have your address), and challenge their legal ownership of or right to collect the debt.

If they sue (which they rarely do if they think you will fight them), answer the complaint within the time period of your State and Court (Magistrate, Superior, etc) and Deny, Deny, Deny. Immediatelyturn around and serve them with Defendant's First Discovery Requests (Interrogatories, Admission of Facts and Document Requests) - now the legal clock is ticking on them. Be sure to file a Certificate of Service with the Clerk of Court and get a stamped copy for your records. There is much support information on the internet. Use cites, and statutes in your filings. If when they miss their filing deadlines, petition the court through motions to deem every admission as admitted, and if they are answering late - abuse of the Discovery process. Make a motion to dismiss with a pre-printed order for the judge to sign - make it easy on the judge (they are overworked as it is before they get this type of garbage on the docket).

And finally, if the judge sets a court date - show up. it's a 50/50 prop that anyone representing CBE Group will show, and if they do it will probably be a rent-a-lawyer that knows nothing about the case. Be prepared with all of your paperwork. Look the judge in the eye, don't interrupt the judge - and if the plaintiff's attorney interrupts as you are taking say "Excuse my taking while you are interrupting; you honor, I did not interrupt while Plaintiff's Attorney was presenting their side and I am imploring the Court to give me the same courtesy". And they will interrupt...

They've been calling my son's phone who's 15. I called them and told them they were calling my child phone and if it happens again i will call the police. I haven't got a call again from them.

Crap happens people lose their jobs, get divorced whatever...these types of scum prey on this.....Sooo Sorry Verizon, or Cox, or whomever will only clear 1.2 Billion in profit, vs 1.3...of which NOT ONE of their employees will see a pay raise, a benefit increase, or even a bonus....so bite it bill collectors ur companies are bout as cool as re-po people!!! As soon as sallie mae's collection department thought swearing at me was a good way to get blood from a turnip, I never called them again. Also, they took a one time authorization and used it again. When they did I had checks and NSF fees out the wazoo. There job is to get money no matter what. For some people who have nothing, they can write off bad debt. So dont feel too bad if you really cannot pay. If it is a choice between a bill like that and food.... the answer is obvious.

Been calling here too so checked this site.  Don't owe anyone anything so finally picked up with the idea of stopping them and it was a recorded response telling me to hold for a transfer - no thanks.

They call and when you answer there is a busy signal.  I have better things to do than answering a phone no one is on.

this number calls several times a day, repeatedly until late at night. must be a computer will not leave a message on answering machine.
