before with different name I think..Why are they allowed to do this?

CallerID = InformedElecto  321-109-8348 Wife answered. Woman's voice said they were a polling group and wanted to ask her a simple question and wanted a 1 word answer. "Do you approve or disapprove of the job President Trump is doing? She said approved. caller started coughing and said hold on a second. end of call. called number back and # was not in service. Now wife is freaking out wanting to close out our checking account and cancel credit cards. I don't think that's needed but I sure hope I'm not wrong.

Left no message. Just another scam caller no doubt. How can it be anything else!

Keeps calling..

Caller ID says "unknown name".  Left no message.

I  don't even answer 'weekend calls' esp. @ an early hour. This one was from 'informed electorate' as seen on Caller ID Screen. I don't even bother teasing them anymore with my "harried Rock Radio Station producer" act,  [they being caller #9, the winner of today's 'guess the artist' contest.) It used to be fun to screw with them, but I'm getting too dam old to fiddle and diddle with them anymore. Their newest act is to use an almost human robo-voice program that will engage you and somewhere along the line will get you to answer 'yes' to a question, where later they'll get you involved in 'something' that you consented to, using your digitized voice saying 'yes' to "whatever" and using that "yes" as a legal point .. If it ain't one dam thing, it's another.

They called at 8:15 in the morning. I don't go to bed till 3 in the morning. They left it ring just long enough then hung up before answering machine would come on.

Robo started with "Donald Trump...."

Said they had a one question political survey.  I hung up

Caller ID is Informed Electro. The answering machine got "on a recorded line..." and that was it. Never answer, it's a scam to get your "yes" recorded and then they "splice" it to a recording to make it sound like you agreed to purchase something.

Robocall female asking if I thought president Trump was doing a good job. They asked if I could do a survey on the answering maachine. Now it was real, I would def answer that survey hehe

If wife said approved, I think everything fine & tell her to quit freaking out. I'm sure your bank & credit card companies will alert you to any wrong doing. Mine does. However, if she said "yes", I have read they can use this to do some damage (can't remember exactly what now). That is why I never punch any number on the phone & never say yes except when paying a bill when I made the call. I don't answer any calls I don't recognize. So from all I've read about these robo calls never punch any numbers not even 1 to get off calling list. This just lets them know they have a live person also have read it can give them access to your phone to make calls out of the US. Just be alert & let it go to answering machine. If important you can call them back. Most of them will only ring 2-3 times & then another poor sole has answered. This is a cruel world.

I rec'd call from this number but didn't answer. Have blocked it!
