321-209-8741

A phone scam. Left message on my vm. Supposedly is a legal department of the IRS filed legal action against me for tax evasion. Supposed to call right back along with my attorney. I don't think so.

Just got the same recording this morning from that scammer:

"That was the IRS Legal Department.  We have received a legal <garbled> notice filed under your name by the Internal Revenue Service at the federal claims courthouse for tax evasion and tax avoidance. I want you or your retained attorney to get back to us immediately or I will call that number which is 321-209-8741.  I will repeat the call back number for the legal department at the Internal Revenue Service is area code 321-209-8741. This is a time sensitive matter so I want you or your retained attorney to get back to us immediately.  Good bye."

I hope no one who gets this call will think it is legitimate!

just received call from man with heavy foreign accent- could not determine nationality, perhaps mid Eastern or Indian- stating he is with the IRS and claims IRS has filed a lawsuit against me, wanting to know if I have a criminal lawyer to represent me- I told him to send the notice by mail, which he stated 'he is trying to make it simple'- I asked for a call back number- I know the IRS does not initiate contact by telephone, so I checked this out to find others who have received similar calls

Yeah I just got this phone call too. I called them anyway, and after being transferred to the supervisor to resolve the matter, apparently, I'm going to be arrested in 45 minutes by the Sheriff's. Good grief!

call from someone claiming to be from the IRS and saying I needed to get my attorney or call them - I owe no taxes, so knew it was a scam

just got this call while at work. stated a sheriff was on his way to my house to arrest me. wanted my attornies phone number. scared the hell out of me until I googled the number. this person needs to suffer...

Left a message saying the IRS would be collecting tax dept and to get in touch with them at this #. I blocked the # from my phone. What else can we do?

They left a message for us to call the IRS collection dept.  We not that stupid............
