Called and hung up

I got a call from 321-209-9647 on August 19, 2019 at 11:12 am.  The caller did not leave a message even though my answering machine was on.  My caller ID said, "Out of area," usually a sure sign of a telemarketer.  This time, my phone only rang three times before the caller hung up.  I guess even telemarketers are getting more impatient with potential customers.

I answered by mistake. Received a call requesting unknown woman's name, and then he said I could help him
he was police association wanting money. I hung up and reported the # as SPAM

Received call from this number again before 9 am this morning.  Although my ID caller reflected SCAM LIKELY, I thought I would answer it make someone's day.  Male asked for "Daniel".  He has asked for Daniel on times before when my wife had answered the calls.  My wife would tell him there is no Daniel.  He would then asked for the "Man of the House".  Everyone should know how that went off.  Today I was not that nice and laid into him.  He hung  up.  I called the number back and received a recording that I had reached the Fund receiving center.

I answered this morning. He said he was representing the police officers association. I immediately hung up. He calls at least once a week
