Left a voicemail indicating that I am being sued by the IRS.  Why isn't "Scam" one of the options for Call Type?

I got the same call ass most of you.  SCAM!

I received the same phone call twice from this #, about the IRS trying to reach me. There is a lawsuit against me and needed to report immediately.

Received several calls from this number back to back. When I spoke with them, they stated that I needed to pay an absurd amount of money to pay fines due to the IRS. These people are crazy.... threatening me that if I didn't pay, I would have police arresting in a few minutes at my home. They would not explain what the issue was nor did they want to answer any questions I asked to confirm their validity. The "agent" even tried to get info of how much money I have in my bank account to settle the so-called  matter. Do not fall for this SCAM!!! Incredible that authorities haven't shut these people down yet.

I got a call from this number saying that the IRS is looking for me and this was my final notice.  It sounded suspicious because the IRS is not going to call from Orlando, FL....

That's a telltale mistake the fake-IRS scammers from India make, using "services" instead of "service."

There was a voice mail left on our home phone number saying that I was being sued by the IRS. Fortunately this scam was discussed one day last week on our local news. Besides I knew better than to fall l for this type of scam. But there are many others who would fall for it, particulary the elderly.

I recieve the same voicemail stating that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and I need to call them back immediately. When I called I spoke to a man with a very thick accent. He stated I needed to pay $6,000 right now or I would end up paying 50k in court and lose my license and get arrested and have everything taken. When I started questioning him about what address he has been sending this information to he said he had to transfer me to his accountant who had the same voice but a different accent. When I tried to question him further he didnt like it and hung up.  SCAM!!!

Same number and same voice mail, Scam!!!  1 206 488 7405 did the same thing!

Left a message to call their department immediately at 321 214-2843 SCAM!

Same Message other people got, Lawsuit, Crazy Tax Due Amounts and arrest threats, looked up the phone number while on the phone told them what I found, they hung-up but made sure to tell me to prepare my bags because I was going to jail...

This # 321-214-2843 has being traced to a pbx system IP address: 203.146.82.2##, with fake / displayed out going ph #, found listed on system 6262801582.

Got message as well. Please don't call as it is a false claim.

got the same message as those below.  First of all it wasn't a voicemail, but it wasn't a live person either.  It was an automated message telling me to call the IRS about a lawsuit at the 407 number, really?!  If you're the IRS and I picked up the phone when you call, then why aren't you talking to me versus the automated robot!

left a voicemail with just the telephone number - sounded like a computer voice - also getting several calls from 206-488-9070 with the same thing - just a computer voice repeating their phone number

Automated massage to unnamed recipient of back due IRS taxes. Instructed to call back or face litigation.

Same as others: IRS, lawsuit, yadda yadda yadda.  Caller ID showed it was from "Clear Channel".  I blocked the number.
