called and hung up - obviously a spammer

Offering a pre-recorded message how I can put $10,000 in my pocket every 10-14 days.

Just got a call from the number above; caller ID displayed "Starnet-Paete." Looked up the caller ID and there were ten reverse-number lookup sites that had complaints about this company. Some people said they were threatened, others that the caller had insisted they owed money that they'd never borrowed. Starnet-Paete evidently has used multiple numbers from more than one area code as well. I didn't answer the call, since I never answer calls from people/companies I don't know. They left no message.  Blocking, and reporting to donotcall.gov

This caller was a recording that wanted $2000 to $22000 to purchase a program.

Loser of Losers. Scammers whom hate to work but love stealing ROFL!! So sad like why were you born if all you want to do is steal and not work. Pathetic losers!! Just block them people as they are like rats and roaches scrambling to steal or waiting for someone to mess up. Call blockers are the best pest control of these **** anywhere!! I love to laugh at them **** all the time every time they get the busy signal ROFL!!! Haa haa haa I never get the call. Haa haa haaa!!! Man what a horrible life for these people!!

Got calls on the 14th, 16th, and 17th of August from this number, no message. I was not home and would not have answered if I had been. My phone screen showed Starnet - Paete. Never heard of them until now but after reading prior comments I can see they are "dirt."

Got a call from this number, it is a SCAMMER. I keep getting calls from these weird numbers .I just don't answer. STOP Calling me PLEASE.

You might do better by yelling that out your window or door! Your caller won't even know you posted that!

Nobody here makes calls, since this site only receives reports ABOUT calls. You can stop those calls by using a call block option on your phone or from your service provider.

Call shows Starnet - Paete.  Many calls, no messages.  I get 15-20 calls a day from scammers like this.  I pay for a phone to have people I know call me, not jerks like these.  Why can't these companies be shut down, put in jail, sent to Siberia, something?  Gets real old.  Funny how our government can shut down a legitimate business in seconds, lock up their accounts and throw some poor guy trying to make a legal buck, but this miserable POS can do whatever they want without so much as a call from authorities.  What's wrong with this picture?

Missed call, no voicemail

Called from this and another number twice today. Don't answer any out of state numbers I don't know.

Complaining, yelling at them, calling the authorities...none of that works.  By definition these guys are crooks and crooks don't play by the rules.  Just block them.
