I received this same call today. Scared me to death. I was told I needed to pay back a cash advance loan that I supposedly received back in October of 2010. I did not ever receive a cash advance They also said that the check I supposedly had written was from Chase Bank. I called Chase bank and they said there was nothing there, This so called attorney gave me the last 4 digits of my Chase bank account but they did not match what my account number really was. They told me that I was going to be arrested at my place of employment or at my residence. They also told me that they have tried to send certified letters to my house on 5 different occasions and that if I did not ever receive them that I should call my local post office. I never received anything by certified mail since Ive resided in this home. They had an answer for every question I had. I proceeded to ask them for some sort of documentation and they asked me for an email address so I gave that to them. Within 5 minutes I received an email which appeared to be typed on MS Word. At this point I called the county Sheriffs office and they told me that no attorney will ever call and leave threatening voice mails such as the one I received today. They proceeded to tell me that it is not against the law to not pay back a loan. Needless to say, it scared me to death and I contacted a friend who was going to loan me the money to pay it until I called the police, it was then that I realized it was a scam.

I receive a call from 855 662 5293 claiming that I owed a company called Advanced Cash for writing a bad check to repay them back 2012. They gave me another to call which was 321 222 1298. They told me that I owed them $1300 and it needed to be paid or I would be arrested. First off, I never took a loan out with these people. Secondly, I do not or have I ever written a check. I not going to lie and say I was not worried about being arrested but reading other posts has kind of put my mind at ease.

Considering that no one gets "arrested" because they didn't pay a debt, whether that debt is real or imaginary, because it was outlawed over 200 years ago, you should have immediately known that this was a scam call trying to extort money from you.

Glad I came to this site, I first received a call from the 8556287328 number then was told to call the 3212221298 number, scared the crap out of me.  Without really knowing the laws you can get cheated thanks for posting and letting everyone know that it is a scam

The number 850-391-6707 called and said charges will be filed and a warrant issues referred me to Cohen Mediation at 321-222-1298 called them. I was told it was wire fraud and she could talk to them to see what I can pay back.I reached out to attorney and he advised it was a scam

Keep getting calls from this place saying my debt is 1500 but will settle for 1310$ for a cash advance in 2010....🤔🤔🤔 never ever used a cash advance

Got a call fro 678-954-0594 and was told charges were being filed tomorrow in my county and to call 321-222-1298 and they also told me it was a cash advance loan in 2010 that I never got. Just wanted everyone to know that they are using local numbers as well as toll free ones

I got a call today from a local state number today.  They told me to call 321-222-1298.  The lady preceded to scare me saying I would be arrested if I did not pay this money back.  She then gave me the number of Advance Cash(855-662-5293). I called them and they had information on me but I knew I never used any of that information to get a cash advance.  Then preceded to give me a money gram information to wire the money to.  when they did that I thought something seemed off.  Any other debt collectors send a mail or want you to pay by check. thank you for posting these numbers that have also called you it really put me at ease. I was burned once but not again will I be burned.  It is ashame that people have to stoop that low to get money out of people this close to Christmas.

I got a call at work from this number saying if I had big dogs that this was only warning and I would be arrested tomorrow morning They gave me a 512-766-2367 to call says there Cohen Mediation a debt collector and I would be in front of a Judge to make arrangements.  I don't owe a loan place said it was 500 and now 1456 with attorney fee.

Got a call from 517 number and told me they were going to issue a warrent for Dec 8th for bank fraud and hot check for a loan I had taken out back in 2013 she told me the balance was 1,065 but would settle for 607 and that when I had the money today to give her a call I called the police station and they said it was a scam they can not arrest any one for a post dated check on a loan , to block the number and not worry about it , I called that number back n asked him what the name of the company was and he mumbled I told him I reported there numbers to the fbi for trying to scam me he apologized for any inconvenience and hung up on me .

512-766-2367 opps this is the exact number they first called me from .
