- RobinReceived calls from Mr. Powers at AFS 414-409-7215 and Mr. Jason Witman at Accounts Financial Legal Services Arbitration Unit. My entire family has received calls from the above and a Lisa Adams at Account Financial Services pre legal department 414-875-3898. My family is being told I am going to jail for theft. I have contacted the company I supposedly stole from and they have no record of theft. Big Scam. Embarrasing and should be illegal.

- Edith Adkins| 1 replyI am continuely receiving calls from this organization. I have had this phone number since 1980 and have repeatedly returned calls telling them that a Jennifer Stevenson doesn't live at this residence but am still receiving calls. The case number was SP 5889 and the number that I called was 414 875 3906 ext. 4110. Please take this number off your list. I actually called a number one day and told a gentleman about the calls I had been getting and he assured me that my number would be taken off the list but on the 30th of January I got another one. I don't know this person and would appreciate it if my number was completely removed.

- FedUpAlsoI just got a call from a number that is 'unavailable'. the lady asked if I could receive legal documentation for 'my name'. I said Maybe, what is it for? she said I can't tell you that for your privacy? Huh?? Helllooooooo... Told me to call an 844 number where I was told they sercive several offices, asked for a case number that the original caller had given me and transferred me to some many that I believe he said his name was Jerry Mathers. (Isn't that 'Leave it to Beaver').. Anyway, I asked what this was about and he said I can't tell you unless you verify your last 4 of your ssn and your name. I wouldn't do it when he asked with the correct numbers by the way. I said. I might be her. he said 'Well you're being very rude. Just wait for your documentation to be served to you" and hung up on me. I googled this company A.F.S and found this site. I called back and said 'Yeah, this is ______ ______ and you guys are a scam. F----- You!! and Hung up. LOL.. My question is if you have papers to serve me, why are you calling to warn me, moron? just serve the damn things.

- Carmen| 1 replyStarting over a month ago, my daughter got a phone call, on her cell, saying that this company was looking for me saying there is a case filed against me. They never called me. She was scared and gave them my number. I talked to them. They wanted $1600 immediately. I told them I didn't have it. They then said they would settle for $600. I told them I didn't have it. They said they would take $300. I told them I didn't have it. They asked how much I had. I told them I would like to verify the claim. She told me I should, but wanted a resolution immediately. So I couldn't hang up and verify. Since then, they have called my daughter's work and my work. Today, they called my 17 year old daughter's work. We asked for paperwork. They told us we have no rights. They were going to locate me. Well, they found me!

- CWG40 replies to CarmenJust because a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt does not mean you owe it
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:
1. Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2. Demand a debt validation letter by US mail. E-mail no good.
3. Do not pay the collection agent or anyone else a DIME until the debt is validated.
Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply block their calls and ignore them.
If they are bothering you,
Report them:
http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection
Also contact your local attorney general
If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion. You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her. Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved. Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jerkheimers are working out of now. If you can find them. - MichGot a recorded call from a 440-647-8204 to press 1 to speak to a representative or call 888-870-4030. So I pressed to speak to a representative. They are trying to collect on a payday loan that I never had from 2008. They have my personal information including social and then last five digits of an old checking account. The lady got very nasty and rude when I began to ask questions about their company. At the beinning she stated AFS ( accounting finance legal services) after trying to ask questions and get information on the alleged debt, she said no was not taking control of the call and hung up on me. She never stated that it was an attempt to collect a debt or anything. I called back the 888# and a lady answered and i asked what company it was and she stated Account Solutions and I asked where they were located and she said Pasedena, Can and they also have an office in Ok.

- TaylorI got a call from this company (not this number) the number was 0000000, which I didn't answer. My sister then got a call from them and she called me to let me know they were looking for me, they were very rude to her, they said they knew where I worked and even mentioned my company's name and said that if she wouldn't have answered they would have called my job. They told her that I was being persuade for fraudulent checks (which any really debt collector would not disclosure this to just anyone, only the person involved after verifying their information). She told them that she would give me the message which she did. I called them after speaking to my sister, they told me that this was a "case" from 2011 where I had gone on the internet and got a payday loan and never repaid. I told them I had NEVER applied or received a payday loan on the internet and have only ever in my life gotten 1 payday loan where I walked into ChecknGo and got the loan and paid it back in 2 weeks. She said well maybe since it was so long ago you just don't remember taking it out and I said no I know for 100% that I have never applied for a payday loan on the internet. She told me they had been trying to reach me by mail but had the wrong address, and they needed to send me some documents. I continued to question their accusations about this payday loan, the dates, who the company is and she started getting short with me. Told me since I wasn't going to pay it then they would turn it in to Logan Co., I've never lived in Logan Co. She never asked me for my address, which I would not have given to her because I read all of the previous people's posts after talking to my sister and before calling them. When we got off the phone she said something like "Good Luck" which I find funny because another person in this thread mentioned the same thing. I filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau so we will see. Next time they call im going to cuss them out and block the number, I've already told my boss incase they call him (good thing he's understanding) and my family since they have been getting these call too to tell them they are scammers hang up and then block the number.

- LaurenMy father and brother received a call from this company. They told my father they were with "Tucker Locator Services" and provided the phone number of 877-632-0698. They told them that I was going to be served a subpoena. Both of them didn't tell them anything but gave me the number to call back with a case number. I called back and they said they were "AFS". I started to ask questions and they transferred me to another number. The other number started talking about a settlement. When I asked what it was about the lady said "Oh, you haven't been told what this is in reference to?" Finally, after being transferred again, the woman on the other line said that I owed money to "Mesa Financial" from a Chase account. I advised her that I no longer use Chase and that I had no idea who that company was. I then started asking her why my father was told that I had a subpoena. She said "Who told him that?" I said " the person that called him". She then had the nerve to ask if I had proved. I said "Yeah, my father." I explained to her that giving false information reference potentially criminal matters is illegal. She then asked for a current address which I would not provide her. Eventually she said she would tell the company. I informed her not to call my family again.
